So I am fairly certain we will be going to Disney World. I know I can rent a stroller there but am thinking for what it costs to rent one, we can pretty much buy and have it to use when changing planes or other times. The one we had was eaten by an escalator. So that's why they post those signs. Anyway, I don't want to pay alot and have been looking. It seems that the umbrella strollers have a 35 lb. limit. A couple go up to 40. Do you pay attention to that? Anyone have any idea of one that has a higher weight limit? And I have looked on Craig's list but no luck. Oh, and E is about 36 to 38 pounds now and probably around 42" or so.
We rented them at Disneyland (well, my mom has a disney visa so we didn't pay for them) but seriously, they were THE best strollers. I was so glad we did that and didn't do a cheapy umbrella or bring our huge honkin' one. Sorry, that probably doesn't help much.
I rented a double from http://www.orlandostrollerrentals.com/
They had it delivered to our resort then the day I checked out I just had to drop it at the bell hop service desk and they picked it up that day. Still a bit pricey but still way cheaper than renting the strollers at Disney plus we didn't have to leave it at the park and could leave a sleeping child in there if need be.

So if I would get a Disney Visa I can rent the stroller for free? I wonder how long it would take for me to get it?

The stroller rental is only good at Disneyland, not Disneyworld.
I have a Macclaren Volo and I love it to death. It weighs nothing. Has a 50 pound (or maybe 45) weight limit. Nice tall handle bars. They are around $60, but they have great re-sale value.
