gm sonya!

for emily, i'd have to say the teddy bear jake got her or her tag reader.

for jake, it's so hard! he loved everything! his thomas trains, his matchbox garage, his cars, and his bike.

he's SO different from emily. he's so independent and will disappear forever playing on his own. i love that boy.

His Power Miner Lego set. He got two little ones for his stocking and he adores them. Also his PlayMobil knights and pirates and city construction set. He disappeared on Christmas Day for hours on his own just playing by himself. So quiet. Awesome.

Good morning!

M2 says his favorite gift is his arcade basketball(it's my favorite, lol). I think the Wii is a close second though!

I'm pretty pleased with myself as Hannah has been using everything we got her so far (nice change from the hit and miss of last year, lol.) Anyways, the faves have been her zhu zhu pets, Jonas brother Build-a-bear dog, and the Tag reader (which I thought she'd like, but I've been blown away with how much she's been using in just in the past few days.)

morning lovelies.
i want to say their favorites are the american girl dolls, but i think it's *me* who's obsessed.
they do like them VERY much though (thank god).
right now they are playing with their new carebears (grumpy and bedtime).
they're also really into the dollhouse set.
i think we did pretty well this year.

R was up SCREAMING last night with an ear ache.  i am just not catching a break.  they are either puking, wheezing, crouping, running fevers, generally mucusy, or having ear aches since the day before christmas.  we are off to the pedi (again) today. i called in the middle of the night last night about the ear.  i am worried R ruptured her ear drum like C did that time.  i worry about R's ears since she had the surgery - her tubes are out now, but...still...
wish me luck. i hope it's nothing serious.
i am supposed to work today too.  everything is all off and i am exhausted from being up all night with her.  not to mention cara's croupiness last night too.  if one wasnt calling for me, the other was. i'm BEAT.

kelly, I'm sorry the girls are still feeling so bad!
I don't think you have any additional worry w/ R's ears since she had the tubes.
Does she have anything running out the ear?
I'm sure you know a rupture will actually make it stop hurting since I relieves all that built up pressure.

no, nothing's running out.  i remember when it happened to C, she had major puss flowing out.  ug. i hate to schlep them to the pedi yet again, but i guess it's the cautious thing to do.

I know for DS1 it was his Itouch

For Jake it's hard to say.  He heart.gif a dinosaur DVD I got him.  He heart.gif his Megatron.

Kate is in love with a stroller my mom got her.

On the flip side - Jake has not even acknowledged the Tag reader!

We are all LOVING the Wii for sure!  I've already picked up 3 more games for it since Christmas!!!

I would take her in too if she was up crying from the pain.  She definitely has an infection or something going on.   That is no fun, I know.

Kelly, I am SO SORRY. I would definitely take her in, much as I am sure you don't want to. UGH. I wish I had a magic wand to wave and just make all of the sickies leave your house...

Keep us posted. I hope you can get through the day ok-it is HARD when you are so tired.

thanks.

i am beat. the good news is though, that i work today.  so my babysitter is coming (knowing all their issues - she's fine with it) - at about noon and i get a little break.  i am also going to run some errands so i dont have to schlep them anymore than necessary. i think the break will definitely help, even if i cant sneak a nap in.  fortunately their moods are good.  they just seem to be absolutely collapsing at night.

Biggest hits on the toys-

Anna loves her Kai Lan-that big one that you press her hand and she talks and such? For some reason, she fixated on it, even though we really don't want Kai Lan, and she wanted it so badly. She really does love it and so does Kate!

They both adore the barbie sized princess wardrobe dolls my mom bought them (thanks for that tip, Megan!!!!). She also bought them a couple of princes, and they are obsessed with changing everyone's clothes and them getting married and such. I would say that those are what they are playing with most. They got some Barbies and barbie clothes too that they are loving as well. Now we need a house or something!!

Oh, and my SIL got Anna a set of dress up shoes which they are enjoying. Anna can barely get her wide feet into them, but they think high heels are fun and are dressing up a lot too.

So glad most of the kids are loving their tag!!! We love ours here too, though they have taken a backseat because of the new dolls. But I wish we had the larger capacity ones-that would be SO NICE.

Yeah, sometimes just getting out of the house for a bit if a GODSEND, so I am glad you will be getting a break.  I just hope they get better soon, Kelly.  I tell ya, I am MORE than ready for spring right about now-and nervous that we haven't even gone through the roughest part of winter yet!!!!!

Man-you are not kidding about that!!!  The fingers on those dolls kind of splay out, and my girls can't get most of the sleeves over them, lol.  I tell them they have to keep the dolls in those dresses for a minimum of 5 minutes or do it themselves, lmao.  But they LOVE them.  And my mom got a good price on them online-they were on sale when she bought them and she had a credit plus a coupon code-it worked out great!!  She gave them sleeping beauty and ariel, but she also has cinderella and belle that she is saving for another time.

I am SOOOOOOOO glad you told me about those!!!

Good morning!!

I think the WII has been a huge hit!!  SG also loves her candy jewelry maker.  Presley loves her tag reader too, but she hasn't mastered it by herself yet, but she'll get there smile

Good morning!

I am not sure what E's favorites are yet.  She still has some things in packages, but that is generally how she does this.  She will play with things for a day or more then move onto the next.  Right now I would say the doll house was a good investment because she is trying out all of her old toys (including things like her airplanes) in the doll house along with her new purple dragons and Rapunzel Barbie. giggle.gif

Kelly I hope your household is feeling well soon.  It's the pits when it's one thing after another like that.

Megan, how are you feeling now?  Is today any better?
