Good morning.

My favorite present is that I get to take a Nikkon class on a Saturday in Jan from 9:30 to 4:30 and Rob's going to be with the kids all day.

It basically shows you how to use your camera and I am not a manual person, I need someone instructing me.

I also got this which I'm so excited about.

http://www.brookstone.com/video-accessories_iconvert-digital-video-converter.html?bkiid=categoryLandingPage_Electronics_Video_Equipment|C4CategoryProdList1FDT|7892993

I can transfer VHS and my old video camera tapes onto my computer.

I've been wanting to do this for a long time but I'm so scared to take them somewhere and have the place lose them.

kdrew, i'm taking a camera class next month too!

it's not through nikon, but it's a class that will do the same thing - teach me how to use all the features on my camera!  soooo excited!

Cool! You know so much more than I do already. I just point and click. I need lots of help.

too bad we can't take one together. :(

where are your going to yours? (i just checked the nikon class schedule - i'd have to wait til march)

 That would be fun!

I'm laughing because I wrote Nikon with two k's.

See I need even more help than I thought.

I'm taking this one.

It's Feb 13th, I thought it was in Jan.

Hello all. Had a fantastic Christmas with my family. Boys loved it. They have been really good and doing well with all the changes and late nights. They really are good little boys.

We came home from my moms on Christmas night and there was a freakin' mouse in our heater/air vent. (They are on the floor.) YUCK. Tiny little thing. I totally freaked.

Of course NOTHING was open that night so we just had to go to bed knowing there was at least one mouse in our vents. We closed them and put some mesh stuff on the bedroom ones so we could keep them open but know the mice wouldn't come out. (seriously, it makes me want to barf.)

Well, we put traps in there and as of this morning have caught three mice. :/ Our pest control peeps will be out tomorrow (hopefully). I am so disgusted but Doug keeps telling me it is common - it gets cold, they find a way in. But still, yuck yuck yuck. I feel like a slob or something. And now of course I'm worried about them being all diseased and crap like that. Okay, enough. I hope there isn't any more but yuck.

The one good thing is that it really motivated me to get this house spic n span. It was clean but by tonight it will be spotless for the pest guys.

And it lit a fire under my butt to bring all the donations from the garage to the thrift store so they can actually get into the garage to do whatever they need to do.

I cleared out about 10 trash bags of clothes, 2 bags of books and then tons of other things - baby things, household items, etc. So nice to purge!

My BIL is from the Philippines and he cooked Christmas Eve dinner. OMG, seriously, so delicious. We always have him cook these same dishes when he is here because it is so yummy. Well, it made so much that we ate the leftovers for Christmas dinner. Super yummy.

Since we didn't do the turkey then we are having it tonight. Can't wait! Will be a delicious dinner. Yum.

 LMAO!

If anyone needs proof that mice come in simply because it's cold then they just need to look at your house.

You're the least slobbiest person I know.

We had mice when we lived in San Diego and they freaked.me.out!

Jealous!

I'm going to purge after the first of the year.

Our playroom and my closet need help.

I'm making myself wait until I go on my diet so I'll have something to do instead of eat.

I'm thinking it'll be a 2 week project.

we have wii sports and wii play.

I just ordered EA Sports active and the new Super Mario Brothers.

I want to get Mario Cart.

Beyond that I'm not sure what to get.

We are having TONS of family fun with the two games we do have!

You have to get Mario Kart..Oh my goodness it is so fun! DH got it for me for Christmas and I LOVE it! I spend more time it playing it than any one else (and I'm damn good too) Its a freaking blast. But you'll need more than one wheel (which you can acquire from GameStop for sick, sick prices if you catch them on a good sale) or else you'll hear squabbling over the wheel (like I did). The wheel isn't  necessary but its fun. Makes you feel like you're really driving. LOL.

I highly recommend it.

And the Wii Fit (Plus) but I don't have the Wii Fit Plus. I have the Wii Fit but I will be getting the Wii Fit Plus software one of these years.

And...well...The MySims are cute for kids. And I enjoyed it. And Animal Crossing puts me to sleep.

It was SO nice. I wanted to get it in before the end of the year so we could put it on our taxes. :D
