I slept in this morning a little. Today I'm off to Walmart for the after Christmas sales then grocery shopping. I'm still so full from last night's dinner that eating anything for breakfast makes me want to gag. Still, it was a great dinner and we have tons of leftovers for lunch today.

On another note, my cats are lucky to be alive this morning. At 5:00 this morning I was awakened by a tinkling sound. After hearing it twice more, I figured out where it was coming from. My bigger cat was on the table with my Christmas village. After I scared him enough for him to fly down off it, I told him I'd skin him alive if he broke anything. He looked at me like, "What'd I do?" Then 10 minutes later I caught my other cat in the tree. Grrr!

april, i love gymbo underwear they do not get little strings all over. each of my boys got pairs in their stocking. the rest of your week wears me out.

today is laundry and hanging out playing with the kiddos and all their new goodies.

everyone slept in until 7:45 with no wake ups through the night so it was a wonderful start to the day around here. i needed a good night of sleep.

why does everyone in my house yell all.the.time?

why do I have to yell over them just to be heard?

why do they not understand the concept of an inside voice?

they are driving me batty.

Toy DISASTER here too. Plus, I'm sick so it's really the last thing I want to do, but it needs to get done. Ugh!

Plus, I brushed Bella with the Furminator last night (awesome dog brush!!). I had a whole plastic grocery bag full of fur. Well, I forgot to throw it away and the tornado that is Carter found it....You can imagine.

Off to try and make a little bit of progress.

I feel MUCH better this morning then I did last night. I was feeling awful around 7:45 last night way too much food and junk and I had a headache. I took tums and advil and went to sleep an hour later. Slept until 9:30 this morning! I did give Hannah a waffle and put Christmas Tom and Jerry on at 8:30 then crawled back into bed. I like Kari's fb update, my house totally looks like a toy store threw up in it too! Such a mess. Bryson's new favorite thing to do is scream as loud as he can... especially when Hannah sits on his new giraffe bike toy or is sitting in his Cars inflatable ball pit. Sigh. We got lots of giftcards for Christmas but I just don't think we will be going out, I don't think I have it in me LOL! Not to mention my budget is in very sorry shape oops. Shouldn't tempt myself when I can't buy anything right now. We did have a fantastic Christmas and I loved Bryson's reactions to everything, I have many a picture with his mouth wide open as he discovered present after present. It was so much fun.

I feel like a train hit me.

My house looks like a tornado came through. I am just going to relax and enjoy the mess today. Let the kids play and go nuts and then tomorrow I have to gut rooms and purge stuff to make room for the new stuff. We are taking the old toys to the shelter for women. Some of them I will save for Mia and put in the attic, but we have way too much stuff. The girls are spoiled.

Rich is at the Motor City bowl today. It is two crappy teams I think, but he is on the sidelines so he should have fun. I am with the girls all day. Allie is watching her Tinkerbell movie and I am relaxing.

April - Love my Keurig. I so far like the Green Mountain Dark Magic and The Paul Newman Exra Bold.

I need to gut rooms too.

I'm horrible at purging.  We have WAY to much stuff.  I can barely walk through my house.  Not one room is clean.

I like your idea of taking the day off though.  I might just sit here and chill on the computer during nap - I was going to clean but I have no clue what to do first.  I did go through Jake's room once with a bag and tossed every McDonald's happy meal toy and other stuff.  One bag full but you can't even tell!

I heart.gif your pics on facebook!

Good afternoon, friends!

Crazy craziness here but it's nearing the end. Thank goodness (i first typed foodness, lmao) it's a holiday here. Nothing is opened and it makes for a very relaxing recovery day.

We did Christmas Eve at my inlaws, Christmas morning here with my family (santa), Christmas day at my inlaws again (dinner and presents - 8 grandkids 7 under 7), then christmas eve at my moms, christmas morning (this morning) at my moms, and now we're all EXHAUSTED.

We're getting take out of some kind tonight and we're going to play with all of our toys. It was a wonderful holiday!

I don't know why I'm not napping. Everyone else is (well, Char is watching a movie in his bed on my ipod). I have a feeling like it would only make me feel worse.

so I'm drinking a beer and am about to eat some quiche.

yippee!!!  so glad you like it!

are those from the sampler?  if so, i'd HIGHLY recommend the green mountain espresso and/or sumatran blend.  i might have some of both of them at work - i could send you a trial if you want! :)
