Merry Christmas!

I was just coming to post that I was the only one awake--a Christmas miracle!

But I hear some scurrying around now so I think Henry is up.

Have a wonderful day!

How ironic is it that I REALLY want my kids to be awake?

Today is probably the only day of Christmas break that they'll both sleep this late.

I have something I need to wrap for Glen still.

We were up way too late last night.

We're supposed to be at my parents' house for breakfast at 10.

Hmmm.

Merrry Christmas!

I bought too much.  Remind me that next year.  I pulled some stuff to put back in the closet for easter and birthdays.

Buzz Lightyear is a HIT.

Cleaning up now and getting ready for the inlaws :)  My pics will be uploaded to FB now that I have a new media adaptor thing from santa!

I saw the trailer for the 3rd movie yesterday.

I was thinking how fun it is for the people who have little boys who are just discovering toy story because they'll be able to see it soon.

Oh man!!

Colin didn't even see the tree when he got up this morning. So at about 7 when he was still in bed w/ us he asked if Santa came. I told him to go see and he was so happy to see that he had come. He opened his gifts, helped hand out gifts, played with Addy, etc. He was a gem all day compared to yesterday. I just think yesterday was a people overload.

The in-laws left a bit ago. Everything's cleaned up.

And April- I posted my super secret cheesecake recipe for you on your FB page. Merry Christmas. My gift to you. Enjoy! Its delish! Oh my goodness. DH won't stop eating it.

Colin was super excited- yes.

Me too. I was surprised with Black pearl and diamond earrings. heart.gif The one gift that DH held out on me until this morning. All others he gave me early- the t.v.- the games. Silly man. Gorgeous, gorgeous earrings. Love them.

All the kids' gifts were hits (except the Tag--more on that)!

Mark did get overloaded by about 3pm this afternoon but we all rested a while, and he seems better now.

Re: the Tag. Glen took it out of the box for Mark, and none of us know what to do with it.

It says the batteries are included but I don't think they are.

Also Glen is too stubborn to read the directions; he doesn't understand why it came with a cd and a cord.

I'm thinking that it must be mandatory to use in order to get the thing to work. Right?

Anyway, I loved all my gifts.

Sometime I'll install the software for my new camera and share pics.

:D

Santa forgot about the special bag of Henry-only stocking items until after he'd gone to bed.

But he got out of bed and included them.

BUT--he forgot the most expensive (and special) stocking item--tickets to Starry Nights at the Zoo.

They're still in my wallet.

Guess those will be from me.

Wow, I am Christmased out.

If I had the energy, I would take down the tree.

It was a greatday overall, though Koda is at a "gimme" stage, and that bothers me.  I don't think he means to, but it comes out ungrateful.

We are watching a criminal minds marathon, lol.

Kids were konked out an hour ealry tonight.

It was a good day.  Most of my kids liked their presents.  Rebecca ran true to form and sulked from present #1 and has refused to do anything with her gifts (although I've already read one of the books we got her and intend to read the rest of them when I'm done with the one my mom got us).  I'm almost tempted to never buy her another gift.  This has been her attitude with every gift for the last two years.  Grrrr!

Anyway, I got some memory for my SUPER slow computer.  It helped a little.  I also got a snuggie, some slippers that has a microwavable part to help warm the feet, a movie, and a set of CDs.  None were things I had asked for, but I like them well enough.

Family sent the family joint gifts for the most part.  They were mostly games which we're (mainly me) excited to try out.

Christmas was good. K loved her flashlight(thats what she asked santa for).
Raym loved his name puzzle and scott loved Ks zhu zhu hampster. He loves to chase it around the house. Its too funny.

I already took the tree down. It was rather pathetic as Raym had knocked it down at least 3 times this week so all the ornaments were off already and garland and lights were kinda falling off LOL.

Now I am determined to get this house suuuuuper clean before we go on vaca for the new year.

Just wanted to pop in quick and report that I did manage to snag a Roboraptor, mint condition, along with the mini raptor and an instruction manual.

Totally worth it.
