At my parents', Henry got: a dvd/vcr combo, lots of zoo signs and posters, a wristwatch, several zoo t-shirts and hoodies, and a box filled with zoo animals.

He was so happy with everything; it was fun to see him excited. That's rare.

Mark got: an autobot, a SonicX Leapster game, superhero clothes, an electronic drum thingy, a giant floor puzzle, some workbooks and coloring books.

Mark was his typical excited self--asking immediately to try on stuff and to open stuff to play.

I'm sure I'm leaving out some stuff because they got tons.

All 3 boys--my nephew was there too--got a sack of stocking-like things including the kids' favorite, glow swords.

My nephew was over the moon when he opened his DSi.

My brother was setting it up for him then got all caught up playing MarioKart.

Then when John was playing with it, I stood behind him and we played with the camera thing.

Fun!

My mom served breakfast for dinner before we opened presents.

It was scrambled eggs, bacon, honeybuns, and waffles.

It was delicious but way too sweet.

Henry got up at 3 a.m. this morning and threw up--in the toilet, thank goodness.

I'm thinking he's got some kind of bug since he had diarrhea Monday morning but I'm not sure it's anything that meds will help.

I asked him if anything hurt--throat, ears, stomach--and he said no.

I really, really don't want him to be sick on Christmas.

I had the flu on Christmas when I was his age.

Just bread milk etc.

Today is my birthday!!! 24. Even though dh is still at work and will come home sleep all day and go back to work tonight it seems like it will be a good one. He stopped in at 4am to bring me an omlet from a local breakfast place (it was the only time he had to come home). And Kaylen woke up singing me happy birthday. She is behaving v. well for my birthday too which is great.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

At our Christmas party last week, my nurse manager was telling us about these bras she got at Lane Bryant, you know, for us well endowed women wink

So Saturday while shopping, I went in one of the stores.  Kenley hopefully only has another month or so of bf, she only nurses morning and night now, so I wanted to get sized (for the first time) and get new bras.

I went in there wearing a 40D.  I left wearing a 40 DDD  LOL!!!

But, my boobs look like they did when I was 15 again biggrin

I hope it's nothing serious.

Good morning! I don't think I have a whole lot to do but I might be kidding myself. I still have to do owen's no sew blanket. That isn't hard, just tedious and has to be done when both boys are asleep. oh, i might as well make a list:
* Owen's no sew blanket
* Clean the house (this isn't super bad b/c I cleaned most of it recently)
* Set up small Christmas tree in garage so I can easily bring it in and sneak it into gavin's room on christmas eve
* Put my mom, dad's and sisters stockings together
* Go grocery shopping for christmas breakfast items.
* LAUNDRY!!!

Not too bad.

Happy Birthday Tracy. To bad DH won't be there.

Wow I have soooo much to do still. I need to finish my Christmas shopping. Yes I am only about half way done. confuseSucks getting paid 3 days before Christmas.

So I will be leaving work an hour early to go to TRU. Hopefully knocking out the rest of my shopping. Then I have to get the kids. And hopefully start to wrap tonight.

One good thing is DH thought he wouldn't be home til Monday but he is going to be home tomorrow afternoon. YEAH!!!!

Poor Henry. That kinda sounds like what we had last week. Not fun for me. But it seemed to hit me more then the kids. They would throw up and then just run off and play. ME it was the whole deal stomach cramping, Body achs, Nauseous (until yesterday).
Hope he is doing better today.

I just (strongly) encouraged my kids to write thank you notes.

Of course, I wrote Mark's but he drew a colorful balloon on one and wrote his name with all different colors.

Then he pitched a fit when it was time to write the second one.

I asked him to just to write the "M" in Mark at the end.

He said "Okay" then wrote an M and then scribbled all over it.

So he spent some quality time in his room.

He wants his friend to come over and see his new stuff but I told him if he couldn't be nice to me, he couldn't be nice to his friend.

He ran off to stew about that.

Now Cole (Mark's friend) and his big sister Sophie are here.

I invited the other big sister to play also but she wanted to go to Target with her mom.

Sophie is having a blast playing with Holly.

I asked Henry to be nice and play with Sophie--she's 7--but he's playing Mario.

Don't guess she cares.

Mark got a transformer that is a car--you push the bumper and the transformer pops up.

Cole is playing with it.

That's the one thing Mark was excited about showing to Cole.

I can't wait until Mark opens his gifts on Christmas; he's going to be so excited.

Now that Henry got a zoo* from my mom for Christmas, he is saying that Santa should bring him a projector. I saw one on amazon the other day on sale for half-price ($50ish), and I almost got it but decided against it. Now I wish I had gotten it. Maybe I'll see if it is still on good sale and get it for his birthday.

* - a bunch of animal figurines from the zoo's gift shop
