The list has the 9 BEST http://www.iihs.org/research/topics/boosters/best_bets.html , the GOOD ones http://www.iihs.org/research/topics/boosters/good_bets.html and the 11 WORST booster seats http://www.iihs.org/research/topics/boosters/not_recommended.html

The article also states that if you DO have one of the 11 worst, don;t throw it away...something is better than nothing at all.

I was actually hoping to see where the Nautilus rates, but it's not on either list

It looks like the only ones on there are booster seats, not the ones that harness and turn into boosters, right?

yeah, they do not have any that harness on there. I think that is why the nautilus is not on there.

Ok i'm confused so all of those on both lists are ones that turn into boosters? I have a nautilus for Bryson and another 5 point one for Hannah I can't remember the brand right now but I don't think it turns to a booster it goes up to 40 pounds and Han is only 35 but soon i'll need to start thinking of what we will do next, I don't want her in a booster i'm pretty sure especially at her weight but I guess i'm asking these are all convertible boosters?

Those of you that have the Nautilus - what do you think?  I hate the crotch strap thing.  It's too low and too far back.

that is the exact reason I went with the Frontier for Jake.  I had heard that so I took him into BRU and tried him in both seats and he sat right on the crotch strap in the Nautilus.  With the Frontier he still has plenty of room in the crotch area.

Bryson has the nautilus Alison and it seems to work for us? He's a bigger boy and I don't seem to notice a problem with the crotch strap, but maybe as he gets bigger it might be difficult.

overall i like the nautilus. as for the crotch strap, daniel just moves it out his way on his own.
