Hey girlies... I wanted to share what I bought myself for Christmas. Joe's grandparents send money, then everyone buys what they like, wrap it and open it in front of them so they can see what we picked for ourselves.

Anyways, a couple of years ago I bought the Mommy Tags that Virgie had blogged about. I adored them, but they broke last Halloween at a public event, and one of my tags was lost. Since then, I've been aching to replace them, but unwilling to pay that much again.

Then I found this Etsy store. She makes what she calls Family Necklaces. On each charm go your last initial, marriage year, a cross (optional) the name of you and your spouse, and a charm for each child. (or in my case, I got an etched heart charm in addition to Hannah's name.)

Anyways, I'm so in love with how it came out that I could cry and HAD to share.

Leah, I super duper love it. I'm going to ask for that for either our anniversary (april) or mother's day. I absolutely love it and it's very reasonably priced.

Leah - how long did it take from the time you ordered until you got it?

OK leah, now I'm totally confused. She lists yours specifically on there and the price shows as $100 but the other one on there that I thought was the same is listed as $34.95. ???

Mine was 34.95, as well. She was putting up a preview for me since I didn't have a use for a second engraved charm, and she wanted to show me what she'd picked out to fill that space (the heart) before she sent it. Putting a high price on stuff that's listed, but not really for sale just keeps people from buying it.

I'm so glad you guys like it, too.

And I ordered it Sunday night, and it went out in the mail today, Juni. I expect to get it early next week. I hope, lol.

The one mine is on is the standard, and I think she has upgrades available. (I know she has sterling silver, but I'm not sure what else.) I'm usually not into a chain like that but I think it makes it look really vintage, which I'm SO into right now. And I'm loving the mixed metals so I can wear it with pretty much any of my bracelets, and rings. thumbsup.gif

(And tysm, Di!)

Ok, I gotcha on the high price just b/c it's a preview. I sent it to my husband thinking it was 35 and then I saw that and was like, oh crap! ITA that I'm not normally into that kind of chain but it goes SO well with the charms. I LOVE all the different colors/textures on the charms. Seriously, I am so glad you posted this. I am in love with it. I can't wait for you to get yours!
