i have a weird laundry situation

i have a pair of gap play pants for Josie (the cotton/spandex yoga pants). I've washed them a number of times and they still smell bad. I don't have a dryer right now and use a dryer rack. They smell like an old towel but nothing else in the same wash smells bad. I've tried hand washing them in dish detergent (lemon) which normally stripps the smell out - no luck.

Any ideas? I can't bleach them - they are brown.

I would suggest soaking them in hot water with vinegar.

Were they wet for a long time? Just wondering how they got moldy.

Usually vinegar works. I also use Odo-Ban for moldy towels; works like a dream!

i cant remember how they got wet (if they were). Maybe peed on? I don't know.

I think they've been washed 3 times now. it's totally bizarre. Nothing else smells like them.

Vinegar is awesome for getting the skunk out of clothes. Its an awesome cleaner.

Um, there is this stuff made by the makers of the Pee Pee Pads for dogs. Its awesome! I used it on the laundry for the bath mats that the cat exacted revenge on and no smell whatsoever! When Colin had an accident in his bed I soaked the bed in it for 20 minutes, went back and scrubbed- nada!!

WalMart usually has them, but they have "coal" this year---black foil covered lumps of chocolate.

Any ideas? Daniel has been asking for chocolate money since last xmas and he's driving me NUTS!

Oops, forgot something.

I'm on the hunt for Funny Color Foam Bath Soap for Juliette. Last year I bought it at Target, but they don't have it anymore.

I really don't want to buy it online and pay shipping, so I guess I'm going to trudge to a couple more stores.

The child loves this stuff; she is currently in the bath, playing with it right now.

at my walmart they have the foam bath soap in i think a three pack on the back wall of the hba section near the caboodles hair accessory holder things, etc.

Thanks!

I just called mine; they have 3 packs left, and she offered to hold them for me so I can swing by and pick them up today.

Awesome!!

Woo Hoo. Faith actually slept through the night last night. (I'm sure the benedryl helped.) That girl has such a stuffy nose and cough going on. We go to the doc tomorrow.

I'm at the point though that I'm almost more tried when I sleep the whole night since I'm used to being up several times.

Good morning girls!

Let's see i'm done with Hannah and Bryson. I NEED to stay done.

Kent has one lonely 2 pack of boxers and lottery tickets for his stocking so far... I have some work to do there. He wants a PS3 game so I will get that and some more boxers (hey the guy really needs em and practicality is good right? LOL) I was debating maybe a new cologne? I'm actually pretty lost for him at least I still have 15 days right?

I need to get gift cards for my mama, sissy, both brothers (although I might give one the ipod shuffle Kent got for free at work, his broke and I don't know if he's replaced it and we wont use the shuffle, I know it's like a regift but we don't mind stuff like that in my family and it is brand spanking new) I do have little things that I give with the giftcards too, candy and little things like that, magnetic bookmarks for my mama and holiday nail files and a mirror for my sissy and gumballs LOL, just need to get the giftcards. I also am thinking a Bed Bath & Beyond gift card for Kent's mom, we just had one open in our town, and for Kent's dad I have NO clue, what do you buy someone who pretty much has everything and the stuff he would want is buku bucks like telescope stuff? I'll also maybe do some fairytale brownies and a craft from Hannah. Hmmm I think that will just about wrap it up for the fam.

I need to package my swap gift and send it, I think it's done. I think i'll get it out on time for sure!

I need to mail Leah some LPS looking like Monday will be post office day.

After seeing that link April posted about the gift in the soda bottle i'll be putting one of those together for Hannah's kindergarten teacher so i'll need to grab some things for that.

Ok that was really long.

Sonya i'm sorry about the house, that must be really stressful. Fingers crossed for a sale soon!

 Thanks about the house.

I did see your pm but I was on  my ipod and forgot to reply.

I didn't price out sending the calendars, we don't have good online tools for that. Do you want them in boxes or not?

Wait, i just found tools online - what is your zip? You can pm it if you want or edit in a minute.

Never mind about the zip - I think I can mail it in the boxes for around 10 dollars if you don't care how long it takes.

If you want to take the toys out of the boxes that would be great, seems like it would make it much cheaper? Were you able to get the pony one and an LPS one? We don't need the boxes :) My zip is 86303.

Howdy!

Like Sonya and Jenn, I am not facing the reality.  I thought I was ahead of the game but apparently the week I spent at my mom's house wiped all that away and put me back behind the eight ball. Oh well.

Sunday is the company party, which I am hosting with the other owner's wife.  We have a plan but need to get stuff for it.  I am also hoping to have finished buying the rest of the things for the swap gift so I can mail it Monday.  Amber I think I will use your mail it Monday idea since I also need to send my dad some pictures and mil her presents.smile

Sonya, I am sorry the house showing didn't go well.  Maybe they will change their minds.

Oh, and I have seen the gold coins in Walgreens and World Market too.

I guess I need to make a list out and make better use of my time.  I still have not made cookies yet and lots of other things.  I swear this time of year is always nuts no matter what I do.
