I'm struggling with what the deals are. I've been reading afullcup, the hot deals one, and slickdeals. I feel like I'm starting to get one week, and it's time to think of the next week.
yeah, i feel like that too - between 2 different grocery stores, with one starting sales on thursday and the other on sunday, it's definitely a balancing act (not to mention 4 day sales, etc).
i am finding that hotcouponworld is the most helpful for building scenarios. and for these cat deals, i try to stock up on the items that give me the biggest break between shelf and sale price - kwim? b/c then i build up my cats fastest.

michelle,
the sale starting friday at shaw's is buy $15 worth of the products listed, get $5 on your next order. now, what they don't advertise is that the promo works on the price before scanning your shaw's card, NOT on the sale price (atleast for now unless they change their system some day). so, say progresso soup is usually $2.50, but it's on sale for $1.39 and there are coupons available for .50/2 soups (so, obviously doubled that = $1/2)
so--here is the math-- shelf price of 2.50x6 cans gets me to the $15 i need to spend to get $5 back.
shaws card price 1.39x6 cans=8.34
3 coupons for $1/2= -$3
8.34-3= 5.34 spent and get $5 back
now, transaction 2 could be the exact same scenario, except when the cashier says
$5.34 you give her the $5 on your next order coupon bringing the total to .34...and the best thing is a new cat will print!
