I have the kitchen AND living room painted. I still have trim work in the kitchen to do. And minor touch-ups in the living room. DH is no Van Gogh but he tried...More like Van Goof. But he was tall enough to get the trim so...By midnight and the last wall we were both exhausted.
I did the kitchen today. Its beautiful. It makes it look cleaner.

There's something about the smell of fresh paint that's awesome.

No more tobacco stains! Our landlady's mother was a chain smoker. Eww. I can't stand when people smoke inside. Go outside!!!

Good morning!

I'm up with the kids (well, it's 8 am and i would be up anyway by now) because Mike had his Christmas party last night.

He got in around 3:30 am. And when I called him at 2 (he was only going for an hour, lmao, so I wanted to make sure he wasn't dead on the sidewalk somewhere) and he promised he'd get up with the kids. Yeah. Sure. lol.

Let's see I love Pretty Woman of course. I really liked the movie Maid in Manhattan, I thought Ralph Fiennes was hot.

I'm at work again today. Over it this week. Nice because I did a trade for next week so instead of having tomorrow off then working Monday and Tuesday i'm off the next 4 and work Thursday and Friday instead. We have winter weather coming our way starting tomorrow I think, makes me happy.

I forgot my phone at home and I already miss it! I'm hoping dh will bring it to me. I never missed a regular phone as much but I sure miss my blackberry when i'm without it!

Good morning!

I think I would have to say "The Notebook."

I never thought I would like the movie as much as I did; I'm normally not really affected by the sappy stuff.

But something about that movie struck a cord with me.

Good work!

I hate painting, but love how easy it is to change a room.

I was just staring at my bedroom wall last night, wishing I had chosen a different color when we had moved in.

My old bedroom wall was this steely blue grey, and I just loved it. I could lay in bed, and just stare at that wall, and it made me feel good. This new wall is like a dark baby blue, and I hate it. I only ever paint one accent wall in our bedrooms, so it really bothers me.

I also dislike the "white" I chose. It's pretty dark, and I would rather have it a shade or so lighter (linen white is what I really want).

Maybe I'll make painting the next thing after we deal with the floor issue.

Ok I think Michael Buble is SERIOUSLY hot in his new video for I just haven't met you yet. I love the song and him.

Good morning, my name is Toni, and I will be playing the role of supporting and loving wife this morning.

We were all supposed to go up to a Christmas thing this morning (they have reindeer, hot cocoa, and other cool stuff) and then go cut down our tree. The thing started at 9, so we planned on leaving shortly after DH got home from work this morning (he gets off at 7, and is usually home by 7:45).

He called and asked if he could go to the bar with his coworkers. Apparently, one of the guys they work with went nuts the other night, beat up his girlfriend, and drove around with her in the trunk, and held her hostage until he shot himself.

So they are all out this morning, supporting each other, and I said of course it was fine. Now I'm super bummed that our plans for a super fun holiday family outing are dashed.

Crap.

I also find him oddly appealing, though I really love Josh Groban (even went to his concert with my mom and MIL).

It may just be that I really like his music especially the new song and  I really liked home. He's just cute.

Now *Lady Freaks new video is on.

*Lady Gaga

She is CRAZY.

He just called; he's on his way home smile.

It's ok, I'm trying to be more understanding of him needing to hang with his work buddies. I just want him to be happy there, kwim?

 HARD question.

My friend and I were just talking the other day about My Life.

Saddest movie EVER but definitely one of my favorites.

Steel Magnolias

The Holiday

Beaches

Fried Green Tomatoes

Muriel's Wedding

The Bridges of Madison County

Oh did you say just one? ;)

Oooh, I love that movie. Though I'm not sure how easy it would be to watch it now that I'm a parent.

I also love Beaches- I watch it whenever it comes on TNT (even though DH hates it).
