EJ is getting:
Office Season 3 and 4 DVDs (got super cheap on Amazon)
Scrooge DVD
gift card for 3 golf lessons
window scraper for car
golf brush
Yankee license plate holder

Those will be divvied up between me, Ethan, and Santa.

I need to buy a few more things for his stocking, too.

UGH.

This is a tough one for me this year because most of the things Bill would want are expensive, and we are forking out a lot for our HVAC and siding, and we want to do the kitchen soon, so we aren't going to buy much for each other.

So I have decided I am going to get him a leather office chair-a high back because he is always complaining about how uncomfortable he is in our current chair, and he works quite often in the evenings in that chair.

That and a few other little things, but that will be the major gift.

All he wanted was a nearly complete compilation of Mystery Science 3000 DVDs.  I paid out the nose for them AND he already got them.  He picked up the mail in the office the day they arrive.  I think it is the lamest gift ever, he is in heaven.  Dork.

Don is getting one of those metl toolboxes for the back of his work truck (all the kids are pitching in the cost), a new bottle of smell good, a portable hetaer for work, and keely got him in our $10 draw so she got him one of those remote control caddy things that goes on the end table---bc he keeps losing everything and he keep it all together LOL

oh, and a few shirts.

ihni what the other kids are getting him.

oh oh oh...he said the other day he wants a shot gun (or a rifle, idk) but i told him if he wants them get it himself bc i dont know a THING about guns other than it would not be wise to put one in my hands because im super impulsive and angry lately and would just as soon blow someones head off as look at them....oh wait, did i just say that :bag:

nothing!  :woohoo

we never exchange gifts - and that is just fine with us.  we get stuff for each other during the year - we have other gestures to show love and affection.  christmas is all about the kids, just the way we like it!

(we dont do birthday or anniversary or other presents either... though we did get stuff for each other on our 30th and 40th birthdays...)

Uhhhm, a hug?

We don't normally do gifts. Usually because I go over the top, and he "forgets" or gets me something completely lame that he doesn't wrap. I decided it's just better to agree ahead of time not to do anything, that way I'm not pissed on Christmas!

Though one year he did surprise me and give me an engagement ring, lmao!

Oh  ya, I forgot that I got George new underwear (boxer briefs). He gets that and new socks every year.

But lets be real; those presents are more for my benefit, since I get grossed out by old socks and undies.

We got Joe a ps3... most of his other gifts revolve around that - the remote, a spare controller, a game, etc.

LOL Toni! Yep I hear that. Kent really likes these specific ones from Joe Boxer they didn't have many in the store so I have to order some online.

OMG, LMAO!

I'm totally lost on what to get DH.  He's going to need a new car soon, so I don't want to buy stuff just to buy stuff.

I got Mike a firepit.

He's wanted one forever but never actually goes out and buys one.

Not sure if he's going to love it but I got a great price on it and it's returnable! LOL

He's also getting the standard underwear and socks.

Strangely enough, I got Ed a firepit too!  We are planning to redo the back yard this coming year (still not sure if it will include a pool), and I thought he'd really like a firepit, lol.  I also got him a few other small things - a Yankee Championship sweatshirt, a hat, a golf umbrella.

That's too funny!!

I have a feeling we'll both be outside on Christmas night freezing our tooshies off while they are testing them out.

I'm actually really shocked that I bought it for him.  I'm not in love with the idea of letting him build a fire within 2 miles of the house, but I'm trying to let go and live a little wink.

Now I'm just hoping the smoke won't bother the neighbors too much!
