Christmas help?

Caroline keeps telling me she wants Santa to bring her a "snow barbie"

Does anyone have a clue what that might be? I googled but didn't have much luck.

TIA smile

That is what I was thinking. Since Snow White is released this year the stores are filled with Snow White things. Allie asked for one too.

Can you ask her what it looks like or where she saw it in conversation?

that's a thought!

melissa - caroline has been diagnosed with ADD and I haven't started her on meds. getting her to answer questions is very difficult. when i asked her about barbie her answer was ..

Caroline: "She's a Barbie, like, Barbie. She has a dress but not like santa dress."

Me: What color is her dress?

Caroline: "It's red, but it's not red but my dress is red, like santa. Like when I marry Santa. I want to have a old face but not an old face but I'm going to marry Jake because I'm a teenager, like 14, like Jake....."

See what I mean? I have no idea what she's talking about cry

i can't really do that, i don't think. i'm guessing she would find the vintage $500 barbie she isn't going to get.

at least if i do my best detective/guess work it will be santa that messes up and not mommy wink

why not print out a couple of pictures of some that are affordable that you think she might like and ask her if that is what she was talking about?

You know how they have the holiday barbies that are special and usually wear pretty glittery dresses? That's my guess. I haven't seen this years maybe she's wearing a white dress like snow? If not since she said the dress is red but isn't maybe she's wearing a red dress with other colors?

Aww, I think Amber's thought is most likely the case. I doubt she saw the one that is on ebay. It is not sold in stores. Maybe one of the holiday special edition barbies.

Here are my guesses, and like others have said, just print out or show her a few windows with them in it.

http://www.target.com/Barbie-Holiday-2008-Collector-Doll/dp/B0011F4MAC/ref=br_1_4?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=684513011&node=684513011&searchRank=salesrank&searchPage=1&rh=tgt_5%3ABarbie&searchSize=30&id=Barbie%20Holiday%202008%20Collector%20Doll

http://www.target.com/Mattel-N655699932009-Barbie-Holiday-Doll/dp/B001S4TU08/ref=br_1_5?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=684513011&node=684513011&searchRank=salesrank&searchPage=3&rh=tgt_5%3ABarbie&searchSize=30&id=Mattel%20N655699932009%20Barbie%20Holiday%20Doll

If she would be happy with it, they sell this Barbie at Walmart for $10.  Elizabeth is getting it and she can "cut" (not really) her hair and is rather fancy looking.

I took the advice of the group and showed her a couple of pictures online.

She decided on this one and I got it on ebay for $20 smile
