Honestly I don't know how this got started- I think I was looking through the LPS's at W-Mart for Alicia w/ Colin and he start jibbering about how much he likes them. I bought him one last year but he lost it.
This year he has taken a keen interest in LPS. He REALLY likes them. He wants a couple for Christmas. I'm okay with it but DH is a bit on the fence b/c the toys are more or less geared for girls.
My question- would you let your boys play with LPS?
I had a $25 Big Lots card that MIL sent me and I let Colin get one small item and he chose an LPS set and he loves them. Its a dog and a cat in a carrier. He feeds them and brushes them as if they were real animals. They are Agent Dog and Agent Cat.
He wanted one and they play with it and even though it is girly I didn't think it was over the top and I just don't think it's a big deal. I was going to buy Owen some My Little Ponies last year because he was into one he got in a happy meal but I never found a deal I thought was good enough. :dunno:

I have an LPS OBSESSED 5 year old. Honestly Jennie, I would totally let Bryson play with them (he already does) and I would have no problem buying him them if that was what he wanted :) I think they are way more gender neutral then some of the other items out there personally.
He wants the light up race track that has the cat and the turtle, the club house, the lady bug, the hamster, the panda bear, and the monkey but only b/c it has a boat! LOL That's my son. And the huge back pack set that has the sand box and orange frog b/c it has a sand box and orange frog. He loves the animals. We played vet the other day. I was caring for the animals, they got sick, and I had to tote them across the river to him.
