I have been checking slickdeals, and today there were deals for sweaters at JC Penny, and a coupon code. So, the sweater ended up being free. It's a $36 dollar sweater that was clearanced.
So, it's ok that I am giving this to my sil for Christmas, right??? Is that a dumb question?
of course it is. as far as i am concerned, your time is worth $ too and it takes time to look up coupon codes/clip coupons/wait in line on black friday, etc.

Thanks everyone. My sil is pretty picky, so on the one habd I was thinking who cares if she likes it or not since it was pretty much free ($3 shipping). But then, the devil on my shoulder said but if she knew how much you paid for it, she'd be pizzed...

I am the same way. I always feel that if I save money I have to add something to make it to the price I would spend. So insane and I need to get over that.
That is a great find. I have shopping issues and have to back away from slickdeals and all other sales.
