I'm officially in the 3rd trimester!!! Woo-hoo! Since I've looked like I've been in it for a couple months now, I'm happy to be here LOL.
Things are going great! Still loving feeling all the movement!
I'm feeling pretty good. I think I have heartburn this time around, but tbh, I don't really know what that is LOL. Maybe more like reflux with out the burning heart, if that makes sense. I also ended up with a lot of what I'm guessing is ligament pain again. With Meghan, I remember barely being able to walk around this time without wincing in pain and I'm in a pretty similiar situation this time. I think it passed so I'm hoping that happens soon.
Dr. appts. are going great. I actually met with a new male doctor in the practice last week. I was pretty scared to meet with him because 1)he was very stern with me over the phone about taking Tamiflu when Meghan had the flu and 2)I really didn't want to hear from a male dr.'s mouth that I was gaining too much weight.
Well, I am IN LOVE with him. He is the kindest most gentle funny man. He didn't even bring up my weight and when I brought it up (when we were talking about the GD test) and said that I really don't feel like I'm overeating and yet gaining a ton, he said that some women just gain more than others and to eat what I need to. I almost keeled over. I've never had a Dr. say this to me before. Then he told me I could eat a 3 Musketeers bar instead of having to drink that awful crap for the 1 hour test. So I'm trying to figure out how to switch over to him as my main doctor without pissing off the other doctor. I just feel, in my heart of hearts, that I want him to be the one delivering her because he has such a calming effect on me. He's also one of the 2 head doctors while my current doctor is the newest.
And I just found out I passed my 1 hour glucose test! Since I failed with Meghan, I am shocked and so so so happy! Especially heading into Thanksgiving and the holiday season.
No closer to picking a name. I really wanted Alyssa Jane and it felt soooooooo right but Mike vetoed it. Boo. So now our tops are Natalie and Erin with possibly Grace (my Grandma's name, who passed this year) as the middle name.
So here I am(in my most flattering outfit LOL). I won't say how much weight I gained since we're not in CC, but it's a lot as you can see. And my belly looks like I'm about to pop!
Di - look at you!! You are beautiful! And you are glowing! I am so happy that you found a doc that you love and that your gd test came back normal. It is time to start enjoying this pregnancy.
And btw, Natalie as the name for your new little girl totally gets my vote!

You look so pretty Di. I adore the shot of Meghan kissing your tummy, what a great shot and you took it yourself! I'm glad you found a doctor you love, hopefully you can switch without too much stress. I love Alyssa Jane but I love your other choices too. I cannot believe you are 28 weeks!
Ok, Seriously... you look AMAZING! I know you have been self-conscious - but you really should not be because you look absolutely beautiful. Really. Be proud of yourself!
Thank you so much for the confidence boost, girls! You made me feel like I can actually step out of the house sometime in the next 3 months .
I will admit to taking a ton of pics that I would never post and deleted *immediately* but I must have worked the angles well when taking this picture LOL.
I'll keep everyone updated on the name situation. Natalie was our #2 name behind Meghan, so that's definitely at the top of the list. Erin came out of nowhere but I can't shake it. I'll have to see how things feel in a couple months. :sonya:
