hmm

Is there some crazy hidden place on itunes that when I sync it holds ALL of my iphone info?

Yeah, I know I'm SOL but just thought I'd ask.

Also, for future reference, how would one back up an iphone?

All my pictures.....cry, cry, cry!!

Kristi, I feel your pain!!

However, you should try googling the backup issue...I noticed when I recently was playing around with the syncing in iTunes that a message appeared on the top bar that said "Backing Up Alicia's iPhone." I have no idea where info was backing up to, or if it was only apps and music that were being saved. But the message made me wonder...

Did you let it completely dry?

I was reading something for a friend who's little girl poored tea into her mac and some people were able to get things back when it dried.

Did you call apple?

:(

When I got my new iPhone, I was able to automatically restore all of my stuff onto it. And I never realized I was backing it up (just synching it).

Also, how long ago did this happen? I've actually had electronic devices stop working once wet and then start working again once they dried out. Maybe you'll get lucky...

Sorry that happened. SUCKS.

So you never actually chose "back-up" you would just sync it?

That gives me hope.

Yup. I never did anything "back up" like. Just a sync.

And then I plugged in my new phone for the first time, and it asked me if it wanted to restore all of the crap. So phone numbers, pictures, all of it made it over.

It worked the same way when Damon got his new phone, too.

I think you have reason to be hopeful. :fingerscrossed

ETA: By plugged in, I mean connected to iTunes on my computer.

Oh shit. I'm not looking forward to the day that happens around here. Is it bad?

(The phone in the washing machine has already happened here. Although what did I do as soon as I found it? Plugged it in to see if it still worked. It sizzled. LOL!)

Oh dear!

At least you didn't run it through the dryer!

Did that with my iPod! Ran the damn thing through the washer and dryer..Yeah. Took a month and it was working again..

I hope you get it fixed soon!!

These Apple products are sturdy! I'm mighty impressed with how much abuse they can take and keep on ticking!

 Oh man that sucks.

Jack dropped his itouch in the toilet last week and we learned the hard way to not turn it on until it's dry.

So my phone is sitting in a bag of rice right now.

Sarah's hair actually looks kind of cute.

She gave herself some layered bangs, and not the kind that are a 1/2 inch off of the top of her head like most kids do.

She's never had bangs so I was sad because I love her bangless bob but it could be soooo much worse.

ITA.  I don't know about the wet thing (although I did drop my ipod in the toilet and it was also fine when it dried, but yuck!), but in iTunes it makes a copy of your file that is on your phone.  As long as you didn't delete those files, which I'm doubting you did, you should just be able to sync the files to your phone again.

I don't have an iphone, just and ipod and this is how it works, so it is possible that the iphone is different.  i'm doubting it though.  i think at least your photos/music should be in itunes, not sure about your apps and phone numbers.

 LMAO!

I looked at her and was thinking that her hair looked cute and then I was like OMG she cut it.

Then I was mad because I've been growing it all one length for 4 years. LOL.

Then I thought about enrolling her in beauty school.
