I'm starting to pack for our t-giving roadtrip.

This is going to be almost like moving a house.

right now I'm in "beach" mode.  swimsuits, sunscreen, beach towels, sand toys.

Crystal - What did y'all do on your date?

We went to an Arabian restaurant.  Had food from Lebanon and Iraq.  The food was different and so we thought it was ok, but the atmosphere was cool.  Plus, they had a belly dancer, which is always fun!

sonya, one day last week, there were 9 kids out with the flu from mason's class.  there is normally 16 kids in his class.  2 of them were confirmed h1n1, and the others weren't tested, but it is assumed that is what they had.  i have NO idea how mason hasn't caught it yet.  i almost want him to so i can be over it and stop worrying.

I know. I feel like taking them over to someone's house who has it so I can stop worrying.

And then they would get it really bad and have to be hospitalized and I would feel terrible.

But I hate waiting for it to come!

lmao, seriously.  that is how i feel every day.  being a parent is so hard.

pensacola beach.

crossing my turkeys for good, warm sunny weather!!!

It will be the first time my little kiddos have been to the beach.

It's a 12 hour drive though so I'm really mentally preparing.  I've got a HUGE bag of tricks!!!!

Morning everyone

Today is Mia's birthday party. I am knee deep in cup cakes and the rest is all ready.

It is going to be a long day though.

I wish Mia took a longer nap. Why do kids always sleep like crap when you have a busy day ahead.

We have about 30 total! It should be fun. Mia is excited. I wish I would have got it on video, but this morning I had the cupcakes sitting to cool on my dining room table. Miss Mia had a toothbrush in hand and was nudging the cupcake to the edge. When I found her she was taking nibbles out of it and had crumbs all over her face. She is my little trouble maker.

What!!!!  Congratulations!!!

Braydon and Kaylin shared a room until Carter was old enough to move in with Braydon.  (Braydon moved into Kaylin's pink room and we didn't paint it until this fall which meant he was in a pink room for a looooong time.)

I just want to sit here all day long.

I have a roast chicken in the oven and I should be peeling potatoes and getting my stock stuff ready. TOO LAZY.

honestly, corey, i'm not really sure, lmao.  it was mostly bean based things, some chicken and beef.  but the flavors were things that were way different than anything i was used to eating, and i have no idea what the flavors were.

eta: it was kind of like tapas, so it was a huge array of different stuff.
