sonya, one day last week, there were 9 kids out with the flu from mason's class.  there is normally 16 kids in his class.  2 of them were confirmed h1n1, and the others weren't tested, but it is assumed that is what they had.  i have NO idea how mason hasn't caught it yet.  i almost want him to so i can be over it and stop worrying.

I just got home from walking/running.

We have church this morning, and this afternoon our local PBS has a grand opening at their new digital media center.

Clifford, WordGirl, Mr. Chuck (local personality), and Mr. Steve (from Steve Songs) are going to be there.

Mark brought home Darcy the Dog (stuffed class mascot) for the weekend so we've been taking her everywhere and taking pictures.

So far, she's been to the mall to ride the carousel, Chuck E. Cheese, and the zoo.

Today she's going to meet Clifford and WordGirl.

Lucky dog.

I know. I feel like taking them over to someone's house who has it so I can stop worrying.

And then they would get it really bad and have to be hospitalized and I would feel terrible.

But I hate waiting for it to come!

I have the oven preheated for some Grands biscuits. Yum.

However, I'm the only one awake at my house and no one needs to get up before 8 so I think I'll wait before starting them.

I really can't imagine my kids getting up at 8 am.

I'm so thankful when they get up after 6 am.

It's just 7 right now, and they probably won't sleep until 8.

I just don't need to start the biscuits yet.

We don't leave for church until after 9.
