SO despite my being very gentle and delicate with my neighbor she decided she couldn't be friends with me if I was going to date him. I'm over it and I am sure she will get over it too. (call me shallow or selfish I am not going to let it bother me)
John is AMAZING. Sweetest guy I have ever met. He works at a garage and drives the wrecker and picked me up in it last night to go on a run. I get in the truck and he got me a soda and cigarettes (i didn't ask for them he just got them for me). He is super easy to talk to, recently divorced, has the most amazing blue eyes and is a pretty good kisser hee hee. He is already talking about places he can take me on dates. He wants to go to NYC to see the Christmas tree so we are definitely doing that. I was asking him if it was weird his first Christmas without his wife and son (he's almost 3) and he said a little but only because he missed his son and then he was like well if your ex takes the kids on the 23'rd like he's supposed to and you are all alone I'll come keep you company. Just a totally super nice, sweet, attentive guy. I haven't stopped smiling all day, and everytime I feel like I might I get a cute little text message saying hi
Jenn- Presely is so cute in that pic. It is so crazy that she is in first.
Chrissie - Have a blast tonight. What movie you going to see?
Sonya - little sleep stinks. That was us the other night. At least it is Friday, right?
LL - I can see you smiling through that post. Glad you are happy right now.
Hi everyone!
I am excited. Today officially begins birthday weekend. Mia turns 1 tomorrow and the party will be Sunday. I have tons to do and prep. I have to make 3 gallons of chili on Sat for the party and then the monkey cupcakes and the other dessert. Then all the other stuff.
Tonight I have to run around to the party store to order the balloons and get rest of decorations, etc.

you deserve happiness, but let me get on my soapbox for just a second..
just don't rush into anything, k? you deserve to have an amazing guy in your life, and he sounds very sweet, but take it slow! Get to know him slowly, and then you'll be able to really tell about him

end of soapbox
I know and I am. He already knows he is not allowed to come to my house or anything when my kids are there. I haven't even filed for divorce yet LOL. Total slowness on my part, no worries :)
I am not sure what we are doing this weekend. Robert is coming home late tonight. He has been in Portland on a business trip and I will sleep much better once he's home. My babysitter is anxious to make some money so she wants to babysit. I am going to see if I can get Robert to go on a date with me Saturday night. If we can figure it out, we also want to take Elizabeth to see the Cinderella play this weekend.
Jenn, your sweet girl is adorable!
Melissa, I hope the party is fantastic. It still seems like Mia should be a newborn. I think we will need to see some pictures.
LL glad that things went well and you are taking it slow. I hope things go well with Travis and Q and don't get messed up.
We left early, early, early. DH took us to breakfast...Hardees..
When we left El Presidente of the Homeowners' Association was "fixing" the road. The road is privately owned by whomever up in here...And its full of frigging potholes down at the bottom. You literally have to use fancy maneuvering just to dodge them. And since El Presidente drives his big ole truck with its big ole Snack Shack (I kid you not- that's his business venture with its accurate name) up and down that damn road every day, twice a day...the potholes are huge. So we leave and he's tying up this one lane road with this back hoe thingy (Colin could accurately name it, I however can not)..He's digging a ditch..We decide we'll stay away all day so that he can have his space to work..Because he's FINALLY "fixing" the road.. We've gone to breakfast, then Target to get formula and Addy's new car seat- The Evenflo Triumph Advance- DH picked it out and I give him major kudos! And it was on sale!! And we LOVE it! Then gas..Then church to drop off our old car seat (brand new but too small for Addy now) for a needy family, then Barnes and Noble..Then R.E.I, then SubWay for dinner and Wal-Mart for groceries. We come home and all El Presidente has managed to do in the time we've been gone which has been from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. is dig up 40 ft of ditch and make the worst pothole even worse. Yup. Brilliant...They picked real good...
I think tomorrow, since its supposed to be gorgeous, we'll be outside a lot. :) Then to our friends' house a couple miles down the road to hang out for the evening. church Sunday.
Aww, I just read my church newsletter that came in the mail today and my women's group has a whole paragraph telling about me and stuff that I've done.
