Barbie or Disney Princess gowns (for dolls)?

My girls each have an Ariel doll-the barbie sized, but they want gowns for her to wear.  I looked at Target the other day, but all they had was Barbie's modern style clothes with short skirts and dresses.

IHNI where to get just the dresses/clothes for these dolls.  Suggestions???  Online stores or retail stores?

Thank you!!

that is probably the biggest thing that frustrates me about barbie - they hardly make just clothes anymore.... you need to buy a barbie with each! yuk!!!  i still remember the barbie clothes selection when i was a kid - and i only owned like 3-4 barbies total.  these days, i have dozens from both clara and cecile put together.

clara loves disney princesses soooo much.

from the beginning, because it caught my eye at the store, i have been getting her hte wardrobe series from the disney store - each doll comes with 3 dresses.

she has cinderella, belle and ariel already and they just came out with the snow white set so she is getting that for christmas.

I'm with Muffy. I find it completely frustrating trying to find just clothes, so I'm no help. Ridonculous. We have princess dresses, but only because we bought all the princess barbies. That said, they are probably the barbies she plays with the most. I love the wardrobe series that Muffy posted, but I didn't know about them until we already had the basic ones, but we're still really happy with them, and they were about $11 each, so not horrible as far as barbies go anymore.

Thanks girls. This is seriously irritating. I had TONS of clothes-most of the time, I asked for JUST clothes, I had plenty of barbies!!!

We do have a Disney Store in our mall now, and of course there is online shopping-I will look into those. We only have Ariel right now, so maybe if I am going to get more, I'll go the wardrobe doll route.

Thank you!!!

And Tasha-ebay might not be a bad idea!!! Lord knows you can't find them in stores...
