This is probably so annoying to MS non-iPhone users, but I don't know anyone IRL that has one of these, so...

Do any of you sync up an online calendar to your phone?  Which calendar do you use?  Is it worth it?

Recommendations for must-have apps?

Tricks on saving battery life?

Any other useful tidbits that aren't necessarily obvious to a new user?

I promise this will be my last iPhone post! biggrin

My calendar on my itouch syncs with my work calendar on my laptop. I can't remember what I did to do that. Maybe something under settings?

My work email/calendar is Outlook.

 ditto

I super love the cooking apps;  all recipies, the crock pot one, epicurious, and April told me about Grocery IQ which I LOVE.  That's my only shopping list anymore, lol

I also have some medical ones on there, and a few games.  I don't have too much yet, I'm still pretty new to the IPhone

I've heard about Shazam, but I haven't downloaded it yet.

Melissa, they are the same. They are the exact same thing, except the Itouch is not a phone.

I have a question for you ladys. Dh was wanting an Iphone, but we have verizon. It seems like the cell phone bill is quite expensive. Is it 30 dollars for data plan per phone or is that for both phones when you do a family plan. And is the text addition per phone or used through the family plan at the same price and texts are just a total for both phones to use.

Is he at all interested in Verizon's Droid?

The data package is per phone, but I am not exactly sure on what the unlimited data package now entails. I think it changed recently from when I looked into it.

You want the itouch? You do not need to have att for that.

i know i dont need att for the itouch. He just thought since the iphone was the same with the camera if it was more feasible just to switch to att we would do that, but its not looking that way.
