So what are the babies who were born in 2008 up to? How big are they? What are their favorite toys, food, things to do? What don't they like? How about some new pictures? I know most of us post pics on fb but I have some new ones i'm going to post here! Let's have a check in!
I am not exactly sure how big she is. I go to the Dr. for her 1 year on the 18th, but I think she is 20 or 21 lbs. She seems to be running right with how Allison was growing. Allie was a bit shorter though.
She is walking, but not always steady. She can make it across a room and fall.
Her favorite toy is anything Allison is playing with, lol. Oh yeah, Allie goes nuts every time Mia goes in her room. It is such fun :) I can only imagine what it will be like down the road. She loves music of any kind. She will even dance to the sound of the ice cream truck coming down the road. She really does not have a favorite toy. She would be happy with a dish rag. She is so easy like that.
She loves all food. I have yet to find one she does not like. She eats well. We are starting to slowly wean off the formula and she now has her lunch and afternoon snack in a cup with milk.
She is going to be a spunky one. She is always on the move and into everything.
I just posted some in the other walking thread, but will come back and update a new one of her later this week.
Let's see. Bryson is 18 months old. He is the light of my life. He is such a snuggly sweetheart mama's boy. (which I love) He has his 18 month old well baby visit tomorrow. Most of it will be well but he's been fighting a cough and congestion for a good while now so he will be getting those issues rechecked as well. When we went in just about 2 weeks ago when Hannah was so sick he weighed in at 24 pounds and I can't remember how tall. He wears mostly 18 months clothes and a size 5 shoe. He is still a binky boy which I am more than ok with. He is an excellent sleeper and we will probably keep the binky until he's 2 maybe a bit longer. I think he has one last tooth to come in before the 2 year molars... its a bottom I tooth those have been stubborn.
He is talking SO much. He says mama, daddy, sissy, Hannah, fishies (goldfish) sucker (lollypop, mom of the year over here) car, truck, silly, crazy, turkey, poop, toot, burp (daddy of the year checking in, I refuse to take responsibility for that... though I may not be completely innocent...) wawa (water) berries (because the kid LOVES blueberries and raspberries) buh buh (binky) baby, lala (Elmo) bath, gentle, and I can't think of the rest right now, but he's just hitting the repeat everything after us stage, and it's cute!
He loves to eat, play outside, take a bath, push cars around and make car noises, and he will do anything with his sister any time of the day. They have a fantastic relationship, I think because they are almost 4 years apart right now they are interested in very different things and they just adore each other. He is obsessed with Elmo, he can pinpoint anything Elmo from a mile away, I had to put his diapers on the top shelf of his closet because they have Elmo on them and every day multiple times a day he would take every.single.diaper out of the stacker. Good times. I got him an Elmo's giggle microwave for Christmas and I brought it in the house last night in a Target bag and he started yelling Elmo because he could see the packaging through the bag... he tries to sing the la la la la la la Elmo's world song all the time. So cute. He isn't into tv at all, even if I put an Elmo video on, just different from Hannah because she loved baby Einsteins and was watching them from like 6 months. He loves to touch my hair and say gentle which comes out sounding kind of like lentil, he does it all day long and he's actually pretty gentle! He's pretty much running now and he's trying desperately to jump which is hysterical, I have video on my blackberry but I need to figure out how to get it on the computer.
His favorite foods are chicken, peas, goldfish, blueberries, raspberries, spaghetti as you can see in the picture, waffles, and probably bread.
He doesn't love getting his nose wiped but he tolerates it. Unfortunately with the sickness of late he's kind of gotten used to it. He's not super keen on brushing his teeth but he also tolerates that. I can't really think of much he doesn't like, he's a pretty happy go lucky kid.
Here's some pictures from the other night :)

Here's some pictures from the other night :)
Amber - he is adorable.
How much was he talking at one? I have no frame of reference. Allie had a huge vocab at 12 months, so I cannot compare the two. She is somewhat talking, but not a ton. She will say mama, dada, nana, hewwo(hello), boom and that is all I can really think of on a regular and clear basis.
Thanks Melissa! I don't think he was talking much at all at one. There has been a big boom of new words I would say in the last 2-3 months. I can remember at one for sure he was saying hi, mama, and then just lots of babble. The talking is a pretty recent development.
I cannot believe Mia is walking! Stop, slow down! It seems like just yesterday she was born! I don't know if its like this for you, but it is going WAY to fast for me I wish so much I could slow time down a little!

I know - it is all going by so fast. This is my last one and I think knowing how fast it goes I just wish they could stay 1 forever. I love how she is right now. However, if you would have talked to me month 1-5 I would have thought it was the longest period of my life, lol. She is a blessing and has a smile that lights up a room and eyes of mischief.
LOL, Bryson is pretty mischievous too! I thought of something he hates... he just got his 3rd haircut today and the minute she puts on the cape so he doesn't get hair all over him he starts crying. Even a sucker wouldn't help today. It's such a sad woeful cry, but he needed it so bad and he looks so darn handsome now!
Raym is about 19-20 months now. Hes a sweetheart. He knows all of his letters now thanks to preschool prep. He loves mickey mouse and cars/trucks. He also loves his magna doodle. He doesnt talk much still but is my sweet boy. He doesnt eat a wide variety and is super picky well decide how to go about that when we see the developmental ped.

That is AWESOME about the letters! How about a new picture I'm sure he's gotten so big!
Keegan is 15 months now. He had his well check last week and was 22 lbs 7 oz and 31 1/2 inches. He has a skinny long foot in a size 6.5 already.
He finally took off walking about 3 weeks ago and I love just seeing him toddle around. He talks quiet a bit and signs some things as well. He loves his paci, to read books, play with cars and balls, loves to dance and he is a good eater as well.
ooh Bryson LOVES his buh buh (binky) I love it too because it's so soothing and he is an excellent sleeper, which I think the binky has played a big part in. Hannah was and still is an excellent sleeper as well and she had a binky too.
