And was just really struck on many levels by her mother's plight.
At any rate, mom only seems to have a few followers on her blog, and given that she's a single mom with little support and I know we have a few dedicated readers and prayers around here, I thought I'd share.
I can't even imagine what she must be going through. :(
if this family can come to houston to get to TCH to pursue the treatment options available here, i'm going to rally to get them seem by some naturopathic drs.
i may need your help if i can get it all together, so just a heads up.
they're actually coming to houston not this week, but the next
i'm trying to make arrangements now to have them seen in houston

i haven't checked the blog today, but this is what she needs (coming from an email from her earlier today)
"I can bring my little blender to make her salad dressings. I'm not completely stuck on raw with her lately, but am definitely wheat and gluten free, dairy free and meat free. Vegetarian meals are great. The kitchen machines I need are: Vita Mix for her Almond milk and smoothies, dehydrator for bread and chips, juicer for juice......those are the main 3 things I need."
Jessica, my work friend, has a vita mix blender. I'm going to ask her if she'll blend some of the juices Maryn needs.
All of this stuff is for the raw foods, dary free, gluten free, etc. diet for Maryn.
Lodging is still up in the air I think. I've had one thought where that is concerned, but had no luck yet. I think they have something they're working out as well.
Right now my biggest thing is getting everything set up for the naturopath, etc.
Also, I know they can't travel with a ton of toys, so I'm asking for gently used toys/board games for her to play with while she is here. Angel is sending a big box of princess stuff, so that's a start. If you've got any dolls, books or little toys that the girls aren't into right now, i'd LOVE to take those off of your hands for Maryn.
Also, her sizes are 4T and size 10 shoe. We can talk more about it when you're here. I'm working as many angle as I can.

I was just reading her updates, and at Maryn's DR appointment where they found out that the tumor is growing again, the dr.s told her that there is nothing they can do to save her...that's why there coming to Houston. It's a last resort, a hope for a miracle.
