I think I'm going to give him Little John's Nintendo DS and then give him some games. I did win a Tag Reader at a silent auction so I've put that back for him too.
He has been asking for one of those Hot Wheels tracks. He also likes remote control vehicles so I found one of those at Target a few months back (when Corey posted about their sale) for really cheap.
I'm almost certain we are going to get a big family gift of a Wii.
Jake love Dinosaurs so I will find him some books and maybe a movie.

My child must be slow D. She would have no clue what to do with the IPod Touch. Crap, I am just learning how to use it all, lol.
So far this is what I have for Allie
Tag Reader w/ a few of the books and the case Hullaballu game Rummikub Disney game Pet Pals stuff Tons of books from the school book fair
What I know I will get, but do not have Strawberry Shortcake Cafe House and some of the dolls (I know this does not help ya) New music American Girl stuff when I go to Chicago Play-Doh magic swirl ice cream shop and the other food one they have
Other then that I have no idea. I do know we are not doing a big gift this year. I cannot tell you how many gifts she gets from the entire family. It is insane and we have zero room anymore.
All Koda cares about is getting a Buzz Lightyear. So, he that is what he is getting.
He is also getting Hi-ho Cheerio, Don't break the ice, some cars, a transformer, the Buzz Lightyear animated movie...and other little stocking stuffers like books, etc.
Tristen is getting the same except his games are lucky duck, and one of the playuskool games about taking turns or something. He will also get a Thomas the train bridge instead of the Buzz Movie.
I really think other than picking up the transformer, we are done.
I'm sure you want the Touch for the games and videos that it can do... but does Cole have an mp3 player? Hannah has this one, and she freaking adores it. And I love seeing her vegging around, singing at the top of her lungs, headphones in her ears, no idea that we're watching her, lol.
Maybe that would work for you - the one Hannah has doesn't play video, but the one that does is super cheap from Amazon, so maybe that could hold him off for a while?
Elizabeth is getting a combo of things, but I want to get her some things that will help with some of her therapy goals. I know I want to get her a game or two like Don't Break the Ice so she can use fine motor skills and maybe Whack A Mole.
Cole would probably really like the Dr. Seuss game "I Can Do That" but that means someone will have to play with him. Elizabeth loves it and it involves fine and large motor skills as well as following directions.
We may also be getting her some legos.
I have seen a couple of different types of cars/trucks that you can take apart and put together. Do you think he would like those?
(although, on an aside, that Dr. Suess game is awesome. Probably our favorite in our whole collection)
Does Cole have any Schleich animals? Since you mentioned he was asking for animal related stuff, if not, that might be right up his alley - They sell them at Target (even here in my crappy one) and have a crazy amazing selection, and the quality is amazing.
I'm done with Raven except for her stocking. Its been fun shopping for her this year.
Disney princess set Mater mega set Toy Story playworld Toy Story buddy pack to go with it. Bakeware set Cars for vsmile Kung Fu Panda for vsmile Mac play tent CD player(she likes to check out cds at the library and daddy is tried of hearing them) Potato head suitcase Scramble game Dress up trunk Parking playset Woody and Buzz movie size
K-mart had a movie size Buzz for 30 and it only had karate chop action. Wal-marts is the same price and it has everything(sound, lights, etc).
Jeans and a nice shirt (he loves new clothes LOL and since we're going to MILs for xmas for the first time....)
Santa gift....HUGE Tonka truck (he got the regular size tonka dump truck a couple years ago and loves it still so much he'll either get the BIG dump or the BIG crane)

Daniel got some of these from "Melissa and Doug" last year...he LOVES them, especially putting them together wrong--he thinks its funny. on the bottom of the vehicle base is a picture showing how that particular vehicle is put together. There are different sets with different types of vehicles.
I had no idea what to get for Marcos until last week. He loves Woody and Buzz so we are getting him a Buzz bike and a Woody dress up kit. There will probably be Woody pj, playsets, toy story figures.
nothing major. a hello kitty plastic doll house with figures. a new priscilla book a few new carebears this gnome village playset thing (but i have to figure out a way to get a cheaper one) some clothes puzzles that's probably it honestly.
owen is getting a ds as his santa gift. i bought it from john's cousin as she never uses her so i got a deal on that and he wants mario kart to play with it.
not sure what other gifts we will throw in there.
both bryce and owen are really into this tech deck skateboard stuff now.
Anna is getting the super special Kai-Lan, or whatever it is called. It has a heart on the chest that lights up and she says phrases and junk. It is on sale this week at Target. That and a stuffed animal Dragonfly (she wants Dragon from Miss Spider's show) are the only things she is asking for, but they don't make that. I have looked everywhere!! (eBay too!!)
So I ordered both of them books from scholastic, bought a couple of games, and I have a couple of things from the Target toy clearance a while back to give to them.
Kate asked for a big stuffed puppy. It is all she is asking for. TRU had a promotion this week for a 18" (I think) stuffed bear or dog for $4.99 with $50 purchase. I had coupons, so I bought a few gifts for others there and got the dog for $5-it is big enough for her, and the bigget one was $40!! (this one is normally $20)
I have been picking up some things from the dollar section for their stockings (strawberry shortcake hair things, little baking sets with cookies cutters and rolling pins, stickers, etc).
I don't have much else and we aren't getting much else for them. We just don't have room. As it is, we are probably going to have to ask them to get rid of some things to make room for the new stuff they get. Plus they don't need anything.
They LOVE their Tag readers, if Cole doesn't have one already.
We were also thinking of a bike, but I think we will wait because Anna will be the only one getting one since Kate will just take over with Anna's trike after that. We'll just buy her one when the weather breaks-she never got into the pedal-less bike we bought her, unfortunately.

I was making a list of what I have so far and some other ideas while my kids were napping at Mothers' Day Out today.
I'll try to be brief and quick because Mark and Henry are about to come in this room to hook up the other computer. Henry will read over my shoulder.
So far, I've always done 3 wrapped gifts each for the boys plus one Santa gift and stockings. I'm trying REALLY hard not to go overboard with Mark but it's so fun shopping for someone who likes popular, normal toys. [Unlike Henry.]
Wrapped gift #1: Several Look & Find books. He loves these.
Wrapped gift #2: Dress-up costumes
Wrapped gift #3: Transformers (the age 3+ gravity-activated kind--he can transform them without getting frustrated). I bought ONE of these at Target yesterday but I'll probably get the other 3 that we don't have and package them together.
Santa gift: ??? I was thinking maybe a super-hero bike. Or maybe one of those big playsets--like the Bat Cave. Or that big moving dinosaur. No idea.
ETA: OR the big Optimus Prime talking transformer. We have Bumblebee and Megatron, and they are by far Mark's favorite toys.
Suggestions I plan to give my in-laws: the movie "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs", a doctor kit, Leapster games, a Tag reading system or maybe something like an Alphabet Apple, sidewalk chalk (especially the 3-D kind), any kind of diecast cars, trucks, planes.

I asked Christopher what he wanted Santa to bring him for Christmas and he told me everything that he wants So per his request Santa/we are getting him:
a big walking dinosaur
digital camera
big barn with animals
he wants a big black car just like mommys but he already has a big jeep so we're debating that one
Dh is getting him some more big trucks for sandbox play
he will get some more small toys/books but those are the bigger ones...
I am at a total loss for what to get Cole this year.
What I'd really love to get him is an iPod touch, but I'm afraid that's out of my price range.
I have NO other ideas for him. All he says he wants are wild animal books and movies.
I'm thinking maybe hearing your plans or child's wants will help spur some ideas for me :)
I got Mason a Creative Zen and he loves it. The only thing is that I have to start the music/movies for him because he doesn't know how (I'm guessing the touch would be much easier for them). I love it too. We take it in the car and on plane trips. The screen is much smaller than a touch, but he still watches it and love it. It has a great picture. Plus, I'm not as nervous about him dropping it or something. They also make a clear plastic protective case for it that I'm thinking of ordering for extra protection. You should look into it. It is much cheaper.
For xmas this year, he is getting the Tag w/ a couple of books. I am not sure what else yet, but I'm glad you started this thread so I can get some ideas
