i found out yesterday that the grocery store that i actually prefer doubles coupons up to 99c! that means if you have a 75c/1 coupon, you get $1.50 off! that is CRAZY!
in light of this revelation (i used to think that store was too expensive), i will now be ordering coupons for that store specifically and shop at both stores (they are literally right across the street from each other).
yippee!!!!!!!!!!!
that is how ours works too! and the best thing, april, is usually 1.00/1 q on dede's site goes for maybe .08 b/c it is higher value to most people. but the .75/1 q's usually go for .05 --but for those w/stores that double, that is worth more than the 1.00 one and you pay less to the coupon site:)
corey, also, would you roll this deal all week? like i should use the $15 cats (i LOVE that they are in $5 increments) for another purchase tomorrow to try to score more free stuff, right? not just save the cats for next week?

who told you that? the employees? acme is the same chain as shaws (my store) too. i think they are full of crap, to be honest...my store says it is on sale price too--but it isn't. according to what i have read on the acme thread on sd it is shelf prices there...
i know the broth, wishbone, & ragu work. what kind of chex mix did you get??

the guy doublechecked with the manager and another AFC regular told me that at her delaware store, they do the same thing. :(
i got the cheddar and traditional chex mix - small bags - they were priced at $1.69 and they doubled all my internet coupons, even the ones that said DND. that's how i got such a good deal this round. hopefully they will always do that there.
that is weird...i would think that the computers would all be programmed the same, not on a store by store level.
i know that no manager i have ever run into has ever admitted they run of shelf price, b/c of course the more you spend, the better their store looks--they don't want customers to think they don't need to spend $30 at sale price. hmmm...i would def. double check on slickdeals acme thread for sure. i guess it could be store by store, i'm just surprised.

corey, i went and posted over on sd to see what people say.
i also asked about stacking the deal - spending $60 to get $30, etc. they are saying it works, but i want to be sure before i go over there again and screw it up.

:)
yup. you can stack up to a triple. i did two $90 runs yesterday and got 9 $5 oyno's each time.
i'm happy to report that i went today & spent $34 out of my pocket for $108 of shelf price items.
though what happened with my ice cream explains my problem on friday night. the shelf price of the ice cream is $6.69. however - it rings up $5.99 before preferred price. no where was $5.99 listed as a price.
