I actually RAN this morning (for exercise, not because I was being chased).

I made myself get out of bed to go walking, and interspersed with my walking, I ran two shorts bursts.

I've been trying to psyche myself up to try.

It's silly but I don't like the idea of people watching me run.

I don't think it's silly that you don't like the idea of people watching you run.  I don't like the idea of people watching me do ANY type of exercise.  Even when I didn't have chubby girl status I felt that way.

I totally feel the same way about people seeing me run (which is why I would never ever do it LOL)

Well, LL, I think you and I also have another reason if I recall correctly.  It could be come quite dangerous if anyone came to close or to ourselves as our boobs may cause eye injuries. lmao.gif

Good for you!

I used to run...when i was much younger and thinner...now it's not so much the idea of people watching me (which I don't like) but more the thought of running to no where.

leah,

i'm sending prayers for joe, that a good job comes his way

on the school front, i would take the school commitment one year at a time

God only knows what any one area or school will be like 5 years down the road nevertheless in 12

ITU the moving worry. we're there too, but i also kinda figure that what's a shittastic school today, may be a great one soona nd vice versa

mostly i'm hoping you guys (you, joe & leah) are able to move somewhere where ya'll can spread your wings and not have to worry about all of the family dramz.

Thanks, girly.

You are totally right about not getting ahead of myself with the school commitment. I never really thought about that angle, and it's absolutely true.

I think I struggle because growing up, we never moved (my mom still lives where I grew up) and Joe moved ALL the time in school. I don't want to do that with Hannah, so I know that the elementary school years are important, because that's when I'll move if we're going to move. JH and hs are awkward enough without being the new kid.

Moving is just a wonderful perk of Joe getting a new job (far from set in stone, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.) We need a fresh start horribly... his low self esteem related to his job has seeped into every aspect of our home lives. I can't wait for him to feel valued at his job and see him smile when he comes home.

Thanks for the crossed turkeys, girls. And LL, if I was hopping state, it surely would have to be somewhere with better weather than here, lmao.

Mark and I discussed changing his room into a big boy room, and ever since that discussion he's been hounding me to go ahead and do it.

So I told him we could paint his room this afternoon.

Unfortunately, that involves removing the wallpaper border--which is glued to the painted wall.

It's coming down but super-slowly.

What a pain.

I hate wall paper removal.

Do you have liquid fabric softener? if so, put some in a spray bottle and add hot water and spray on. That usually helps (or you can put it in a bucket and do it that way).

You can google for proportions.
