Christmas, hands down!!!!

It would be Thanksgiving if we didn't have to run around so much, because it's the one day of the year that my family (and some of my friends that don't have family in the area) comes together without fighting.

Since Hannah's gotten involved in the traditions, the baking, and the fun, Christmas has hit this new level of awesome. It's all really exciting.

Good morning!

My favorite holiday...it's a toss up between thanksgiving and christmas. i just really enjoy doing the cooking and having the family over--the whole entertaining factor of it.

this year 3 of don's kids will be here for thanksgiving, plus his mom and her husband. his kids are going to their mothers parents for christmas (and even though they are coming at t'giving i still want everyone here for xmas too), so xmas morning after doing our morning traditions, we are going to go to don's mom's---we've been together for 10 years and never done xmas at her house.

ideally I would LOVE to have my dad come visit for xmas too and then he could go to mil's with us, but idt my stepmom would want to come out.

Im going to go to the information session at the college for the LVN program today. If they don't scare me off, I'll take the nurse entrance test later this week.

The only thing that worries me is shots and venapuncture...it actually scares the begeebees out of me, but who knows, maybe i'll be good at it :dunno:

if for whatever reason i don't pass the test--i dont see that being an issue--i'll take the accuplacer test and just enroll for an associates degree majoring in either sociology or psychology.

i am both excited and sick.

i did show the place to the kids and told them we are moving after christmas. i hope that's the right thing to do. caroline seems excited to have her own room. jake says he's excited too. the little boys will be glad once we move and they have more space.

thanks. yes, we're staying in the same town just a different part of town. moving into a larger place but out of single family home into townhome. that's the part i'm nervous about. we're an end unit so hopefully the kids won't make too much noise.

the kids won't have to change schools through the rest of this year but caroline will change next year. jake will stay in his high school because our district allows exemptions if you move. mikey would be switching next year anyway because he'll be moving out of the preschool.

I must be missing something. Did you sell the house? Where you moving to?

That is a crazy time to move. However, it is great that they will have more space.

So funny - no. My friend has a birthday week. A day is not good enough for her :)

I know - sometimes it is tough for me to get away since we usually go to visit family and they have plans. We are actually going this weekend, but are bringing my Mom and that so I doubt I will have a lot of time.

I think we need to have a mini MS reunion there this spring though. I wonder if anyone is interested?

Good Morning!

I was looking at this thread thinking is today Tuesday?!

I'm so stressed out I can't even remember what day it is anymore!

Favorite holiday - I really like Thanksgiving - I like all the food and hanging out with John's sisters and the kids playing.  I like Christmas too.  Well, I like seeing the kid's get their Easter baskets and hunt eggs.  I love giving extra hugs and kisses on Valentine's Day!  So I guess I love them all!!!
