For the Kindle girls...have you looked at the Nook, from Barnes and Noble? I was reading up on it and it seems to have a lot of really good features missing from the Kindle. Are you considering it?

I am going to check it out first. I also heard that Sony has one? Do you know anything about that? I have to research it all.

I haven't seen one from Sony yet.  The Nook has some really cool features.  Check out this side-by-side compare...

Thanks - I have to see how much the book downloads are. I fear that is going to be one of those products that when we buy it something bigger and better will come out. I do think this one is better in what I have read so far.

Are you going to get this one?

I still don't know.  It is going to be available in stores sometime in November.  I want to go check it out in person before I make a decision.  And I also have to make sure the price of the downloads are comparable to Amazon's.

Wow-that is not bad at all for a new upgrade!!!  How much are uggs?  IHNI-I am guessing they are pricey?

This year I want and elliptical, an e-reader (I'm seriously considering the new one from Barnes & Noble called the Nook), and a black leather Dooney drawstring bag...I won't get all 3 but that's his list for me to choose from.

Don knows EXACTLY what I want so we'll see smile

Normally I do not want much, but this year it seem I do. However, I doubt I am getting much. We have to get a new garage door and stuff, so we are not buying tons for us.

What I want
Uggs
Kindle
Ipod  - what is the best one? I have no clue?
More beads for my Pandora bracelet
Red heels
New purse
I need clothes of any kind pretty badly
New winter snow type boots
New phone, but I have to wait till April. It will save me tons if I wait till then.
Perfume
Sephora make-up / gift card
Socks - sounds sad but I need new ones

My Mom bought me a new marc jacobs red winter coat. I love it and cannot wait to get it.

Have you been in Barnes & Noble lately? They have an ereader called Nook....its not on sale yet, but seems real comparable to Kindle...Nook is about $250.

I want a food processor so I can make my own baby food for Adelaide.

I know what I really, really, really, really, really, really want. I talk about it all the time. But I can't have it b/c I don't have $2000-$3000.

it goes on sale in our store end of this month. they told me that downloads are generally 7.99-14.99, but that MOST new releases will be in the 9.99 area.....i think that's pretty comparable to kindle.

ALSO, you can LOAN out books you've downloaded for 14 days. at the end of 14 days, the loan is automatically over. oh, and its touchscreen, and you can replace the battery which you cant with kindle.

our bn will have one in store in a week or so so that people can get their hands on it to try in store.

Are you sure the kindle will work internationally? we can't use it here (or maybe we just can't buy it here).

I dont know if we will be doing gifts this year due to tight $$.  We just bought the house and still savings have been dwindling so... who knows but I really want a food processor and mixer, thats my dream for the kitchen!  New wardrobe!

Speaking of uggs, April have you seen the ones Costco is selling?  Looks good to me and I have a pair.  I got it for only 35 bucks.  I have always wanted a uggs too but couldnt justify the price.  Until I saw them at Costco and couldnt resist the price :)

That sucks there isnt one nearby.  I have 3 costcos within 15miles radius of me.   I know they dont sell those "uggs" online only at the store so you would def have to go in.  I have the dark brown ones.  If i remember to I will try and take a picture later on.  I know they have it in those khaki color, grey, dark brown and black. Exactly what a uggs looks like so it was pretty good considering the price.  I dunno if you're a shoe snob :) (in a good way biggrin)

April - I have owned Ugg knock offs and none have been like the real deals. Huge difference on the inside material.

I want a pair too for winter.

I totally thought of something else...

I want a dutch oven hella bad.

In my dreams I have a zillion pieces of Le Creuset stuff, but I'm hoping to get this this year:Lodge Logic Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 6-Quart . (Joe's grandparents usually just send everyone money, then everyone shops for their own gift, wraps it, takes it to their house and says, "I love what you got me!" lol.) Anyways, that's more in my price range, and I've been drooling over Le Creuset pieces for months and months.
