Good morning!

If you could do any job (no restrictions - this is all imaginary) what would you do?

I'd be an author.

I'd write fiction and I'd love to write historical fiction.

famous artist LOL

Hi! Lucas has no fever at all but he has a nasty cough so I am missing work today (so not cool with my current situation) My dad can watch him tomorrow so no matter what I can go to work but it sucks losing today.  I am hoping to get some phone calls made though and some cleaning done.

Any job...

I would run a food pantry/social service agency with an endless stream of funding.

I can dream.

However, i do no t have a dream job yet.

For my current job, today I need to buy 100 hotdogs and buns, lighter fluid, 50 cans of soup as "flu info" give aways, chips, about 20 cans of whipped cream, candied apple supplies, and I'm sure there is other stuff.

Fun, Fun :)

I would totally LOVE to own a bakery....the old fashioned kind like I could go to when I was a kid....they had the best breads, muffins, cakes, pies, cookies....but not the fancy smancy stuff--just good old fashioned bakery things, kwim. I just don't ever see anythign like that anymore. Someplace to sit and have a cup of coffee with some friends over a slice of cake or pie. Yeah, that's what I would do.

I have lots of things I would like to do, but not sure if I would want to do just one thing forever.  I would love to do photography or be a party planner.  I also would really love to teach kids without having all that stupid bureaucratic stuff getting in the way.  So in some sense, I guess I am doing that job now.  As a mom I get to do all of that, but unfortunately it also includes house cleaning. lmao.gif

I would travel all over the place checking out vacation destinations and critiquing them.

Or be a super-model.

Whichever.

I think it's interesting and very heart warming that quite a few of you would love to own a little shop of some sort.  I really love those types of shops and have some very fond memories from my childhood which included them.

So, you ladies need to get those shops going so I can visit them and take photographs there or tutor students while Robin writes about them in her travel column.  Then Tracy can stop by for a little treat and we can all chat and marvel over Sonya as she autographs her books for us. biggrin

I need to go scrub out the tub and then stick my daughter in it.  I want to give her a final good scrubbing before I take her out in public.  Anyone want to clean the tub for me?  I find that to be a miserable job.

You know, desserts is not something I make very often.  I tried to make a pie crust one time and it didn't turn out very good and I haven't tried again.

I need to learn that though, we love pies around here.
