My mom's best friend (who is like an aunt to me) was best friends growing up with Anne Murray. Since she's played with everyone, that's my closest connection with a lot of famous people.
My BIL dated seriously Anne Murray's guitar players daughter for a long time.
My uncle was engaged to someone who was second cousins (or something) to Elvis.
Hmmm, who else...one of my bff's brother was close friends with Sarah MacLauchlin when they went to school together.
my dad went to high school & was good friends with Dennis Franz. at their 40th reunion he told my dad he was one of the only people he remembered.
my dad also grew up with John Prine. He goes to his shows and takes pictures, etc.. with him backstage.
jake was an extra in a movie directed by clint eastwood. clint eastwood put his hand on jake's shoulder and thanked him for working that day. that was cool.
my dad spent a summer dating godie hawn. it was mid 60's - at ocean city maryland. dad was a beach photographer, goldie was a free spirit and did street performing on the boardwalk.
One of my closest friend's husband grandparents are on Days of Our Lives. And this friend's MIL is a hair stylist for shows - she's done hair for Rob Lowe, Sally Fields, The Hoff, and lots of other people, so I think their family may be my biggest 6 Degrees of Separation hook up, lol.
Sneaking on at work LOL - thanks a lot Sonya now I'm gonna be sucked right back in HEE HEE
I am sure I have a degree of separation given all the theater people I know but I don't really know who they know etc. My mom went to HS with Michael Bolton's ex-wife lol.
I know I will remember someone better once I write this but for now I guess it would be that I met Jerry Lee Lewis's step daughter and hung out on his yacht with her.
I also have a friend here that was from LA and did acting, film directing and such. I know she has met quite a few famous people and has a friend from hs that is a stunt double in quite a few movies.
Now if you want to go into nerd world, I know I have met in person some rather famous people. We are friends with a professor that is known world wide for his work, and his father was an author. Although I don't really think most people would be that interested.
I went to middle school with a girl who was on Kids Incorporated and her little sister was Chrissie on Growing Pains.
I did gymnastics with the girl who played Evie on Out of this World.
One of my really good friends in middle school was an actress and she was in the movie It Nearly Wasn't Christmas. She didn't do a ton after that. But she probably knew a few people. The kid who played (crap I don't remember his name - sponge?) on salute your shorts came to one of her birthday parties.
I went to middle school with a kid named Aaron Metchik. Really nice guy. He was on a TV show then, not sure if he's still acting. (ooh, I just looked him up on imdb and it says he is an acting coach to zac efron. ;)
Another one of my good friends from middle school is a publicist in LA so I'm sure he knows/works with quite a few celebrities.
Oh! And one of my really cool friends has a sister and mom with a company that was at a celebrity event and they met a bunch of famous people. ;)
My parents' next-door neighbor graduated from high school with Elvis Presley. They even have a party once a month with all their old high school friends.
Also, Kimberly's mom knows the lady who sang (or wrote, I forget) that song "Betty Davis Eyes". Well, she knew her because Kimberly's mom is deceased.
Oh, my friend Carter (from college) works for Big & Rich, the country band. He does lighting for their shows. Plus he's worked for lots of other famous bands like that.
And I'm dying to know who your famous parents are, Melissa. lmao. I'm like a cat, super curious. lol.
*I totally understand why you can't say anything.

yeah. I live in fear they will find me on here. I try to say very little about work/people.
Nothing too exciting, but famous. There are tons of local famous people like news, etc. A few national. They do not use their show names with children though. So, they are ubber protective of their children and cannot say a peep.
