My favorite decoration is no longer with us When I was little we had a star on top of our tree that had a light bulb inside. Over the light bulb was this little tube with different colored film. The star itself was shaped kind of like a ball with priszims so that when the lights would show through and move. It was so cool because we had a big sliding glass door that looked out onto the yard, and when it snowed it would shine way out into the yard and make a pretty rotating light show. I would love to be able to find one now. I had it for awhile, but it was so old it bit the dust.
If I have to pick one for right now, I would have to say it's my Christmas tree. I love looking at it.
Libby, my kids are on the mend. Thanks for asking. How's Elizabeth?
My favorite holiday decoration .... hmmm...... IDK.
Glad they are doing better. Elizabeth is slowly getting there. She did pretty well during the day yesterday but the fever came back pretty good last night. She seems okay this morning other than a sore throat. She is going to be cranky once this is over and she is no longer able to have Popsicles for breakfast.
hmmmm I cant think of a fav decoration but I can tell you the one I HATE the most. when we were growing up my mom had this elf doll her grandma gave or made her right before she died. It had loooong legs that bent up and her arms fit around it so she was hugging them. ANyway my mom loved to put it on the tree every year, but it was hideous so me and my sister would always hide it in the back.
Tell me about it. I am getting a bit weird about it. If you had asked me the first 5 months I would have said I could not wait. However, she is such fun now I just want to freeze time.
do you think they would notice if I drove it? I'm sure I can figure it out.
About ten years ago, my students stole one on campus on a friday night and it all ended with a slow speed chase down the mall of campus. Great newspaper article.
My parents just left taking my brother to rehab. He's scared, nervous, and was crying pretty much all morning. I prayed with him, and encouraged him that he could totally do this and would come out a better man for it.
I hope they do okay with dropping him off--I know it'll be hard, especially for mom.
And to top it all off Kenley has 101.1 temp. She's not acting like she feels bad though, but I made her an appoinment for the morning to make sure it's not her ears or something.
