Jen, I'd send her a target giftcard.

Or board books.

or diapers.

Or another kind of gift card.

Ooooh, Target giftcard.  I wasn't even thinking giftcard.  I'm slow some days.  Good call.

Jen, my suggestions would also be a gift card.  Or diapers, or clothes(girls clothes are so darned cute!  Everybody loves gift cards though!

Let's see, tomorrow, M2 has football then we will go out to lunch, then the circus, dinner, and going home and crashing.

I also plan on making cookies with M2 on Sunday.

Tonight, I would like to go to this pub crawl with my sister, but I don't have a costume yet, so unless I get one at lunch, I don't see that happening!

I need baby gift ideas.

3rd baby.  Childhood friend.  Not super close, but she sent something for my kiddos so I'd like to do the same.  Max about $25.

Baby is about 3 weeks now.

Help.  With is being a third (baby is a girl), I'm a little stumped.

I'd selfishly love for it to be Amazon so I can just ship it directly to her.

Thoughts?

I know this isn't fun but I'd totally do a gift card. Especially since it is her third. I loved getting gift cards.

Good morning!

I actually like where we live.  It has the university so I like that it's pretty common to meet people from all over the world.  It has lots of things to do and a lot of character and history here.  I also like that we live just a couple of hours away from Chicago, which makes for a great little trip and big city experience.  We also can drive in the opposite direction and go to Amish country.  Over all it really is a great place to raise a family.

Sonya, I hope you get your dryer running soon. Stupid rainy weather!

Jen, you could always do a baby's first Christmas ornament with the gift card too.

I love so much about where I live. The first thing that I super loved was that we legitimately see all four seasons. I didn't get that in California. By the time I'm sick of one season, boom! Another one shows up. I do wish that winter wasn't so long and sometimes I hate that the transition from season to season doesn't happen more gradually.

I also love that we have both the city scene and the country scene. Love it. I feel like my kids are really safe here. Plus I loved that we were able to buy a house so soon after getting married. That was awesome.

I bet you could whip up a costume from things you have at home in no time.  Does your dh have a tool belt?  Wear it with jeans and flannel shirt.  My brother once wore all white and put a big wad of cotton balls on the top of his head and went as a tampon, but not sure you would really want to do that.  Maybe make your own super hero and use one of your son's capes.  I bet you can do something.  Someone needs to have some fun tonight and I am pretty sure it's not me. giggle.gif
