Supa-  what about adventure kits?  Tickets to the zoo (or whatever), a coloring book that matches that theme, maybe a book along the same theme, disposable camera to take pictures, a calendar counting down until whatever adventures you choose.

None if it really takes up room?

Just a brainstorm.

I'm done with 4th grade.

It's hard, and I keep coming up with great ideas to help Henry learn.

The only problem with all these great ideas is that they take up all of MY time and energy.

Blah.

I was really starting to worry if Henry had some kind of learning problem but then I talked to several other 4th grade parents Tuesday evening--it was CiCi's night--and they are ALL struggling.

Whew. It's not just Henry.

Lord, help me get through two more hours.

I have one kiddo suddenly with the pukes (no fever), and the other who thinks he is godzilla and screaching like a dinosaur.

RAAAARR......RAAAAAR.... puke   RAAAAAR.....RAAAAAAr puke.

They don't teach this in parenting class.

Let's start our own.

Only if it teaches how to cope with intolerable and unpredictable behavior such as lying, aggression, and obnoxious behavior such as screeching when the baby is sleeping, irritating their father who has short temper...

OMG- I am ready to run away. Please- any one want to house one crazed woman in need of some TLC, quiet, and a fun time w/o the husband and kids?

I don't think I know what fun is past getting a full night's sleep...
