I think for me right now, it'd have to be the whole "boy in the balloon" hoax

I mean seriously, what goes through some adult's heads??

I"m taking Kenley to the pedi this morning for her 9 month check up and Part 2 of her seasonal flu shot.

I can't believe my baby is 9 months old today.  Where has the time gone?

None that I can think of. I live a rather boring and mundane life! LOL

I had such an awesome time at church yesterday! Sunday School was great! The service was awesome!

We're switching to a different Lutheran church. This one is ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) which is a bit more loose than the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) church we are part of now. But the demographics are more along our line. More couples, more children. The most populated age group is children under 10. Colin is making friends. His SS teachers adore him and are blown away by how polite and smart he is. They are both teachers themselves so its nice to hear a teacher back me up on how smart my child is!
Grant is making friends. I'm slowly getting there. I'm a little more picky in my friend selection.
We're taking the membership class. I love it there. Its like home. I love going. Grant asked me yesterday morning if I wanted to skip church and I said, "Absolutely not! I've got to go!"
They don't even mind that I keep Addy with me in SS. I'm not ready to let her go. I've got HUGE hangups about it. Silly ones but I know the girl running the nursery and I'm okay with her.

let's see... in their heads... they learned from jon and kate gosselin that you can have absolutely no talent and make millions by suckering the american public who are obsessed with crappy reality tv shows?

ok - not all reality tv is crappy... i like stuff like the survivor/amazing race stuff, top chef :), biggest loser...

but these shows on the air that show irl losers and their everyday lives.... ugh!

(sorry - but that balloon idiot and the gosselins really get my preggo hormones raging - can't i just push a "hide" button on my tv and computer so i never need to see or hear from any of them ever again????)

Re: the balloon hoax. I also heard about the poor family whose wheat crops were destroyed because of all the emergency vehicles driving on them to get to the balloon when it landed. The crop that can only be harvested every two years and is this family's livelihood. Can you imagine?

How freakin' selfish and ridiculous of this family.

I'm back at work. Stayed home thursday and friday. Thought I was getting the flu since that is what was going around at work. Don't think it was the flu but I still feel crappy. No cough, no fever, probably just a head cold but I feel sooooooooooooo tired.

I have my yearly check up at the doc this afternoon. We can get the H1N1 vaccine this saturday and I am still not sure. We have this church thing scheduled at the same time and I am supposed to be there, and so is Gavin. Plus it will be a huge wait to get it and Doug is so annoyed with that. But I do think we should get it. It's just such a pain!

Amazing Race and Top Chef are my favorites.  I DVR Survivor because I only like to watch the challenges and to see who gets kick off.  Don't like all the drama in between.
