Bill and I have tickets to see the so you think you can dance tour show tonight in baltimore. We are supa excited, and have been planning on this for months. (girls are already at my parent's house) The weather sucks here-cold and rainy.
So he is in Long Island right now for a meeting, and his flight is supposed to get in at about 5pm. I just looked and it is delayed until 5:20 (it hasn't even taken off yet, obviously-it is a quick flight). We have dinner reservations at 6pm and the show at 7:30. So whatever, we can always just grab something to hold us over, but I really don't want to miss out on the show!!
So if you don't mind-prayers that Bill's flight isn't delayed any further? Thank you!!!
Ugh, Supa, I am really sorry. What airport is he flying out of? To be honest, the weather is only supposed to get worse and the chance of his flight being delayed even longer is pretty good. NY airports are notoriously late. Is there anyway he can jump on an Amtrack train down to Baltimore? Penn Station is a hub for Amtrack. Also, any shot of him finding a car ride? That may actually be faster. In any event, I'll be thinking about him!

He is flying out of Islip on southwest. (is there anywhere else to fly out of on LI? I really don't know!)
So far, no further delays have been reported. He is suppose to take off in an hour, so I am HOPING he actually does!!!
It takes 4 hours to get here from NYC, more from LI, so IDT driving isn't much of an option for him at this point, to still make the show. But Baltimore *is* a bit closer than Annapolis, so maybe he could do something.
I TOLD him this was going to be a problem, but unfotunately, there was nothing he could do about it. He had to be at this meeting today!
He said he would call if he heard about any further delays, and I have ben checking on southwest.com.
I am going to go get ready with the assumption that he will be able to get on that flight. But I wonder if I should look into their policy about ticketing through ticketmaster. I guess I could always drive up there and scalp them, huh? lmao-I wouldn't even know how...
Just checked again and the flight is boarding! :fingers that there are no problems with take off-and if he gets in at 5:20 like they are saying, we *should* still be able to make out dinner reservation, even if it is a couple of minutes late.
Now to just wait and see when they actually take off...
Well, he made it, and only 25 minutes late! We made it to our reservation, and to the show!!
I forgot my camera in my rush to leave, so I don't have any pics, but we had fun!! I wish our seat had been better, of course, but it was so cool to see them in person. Phillip's solo dance was definitely a highlight.
