I've been traveling all week. I'm about 4 hours from home, in a hotel, all by myself. Bliss.

I've been working with my client all week and it's been going well. I'm also here with a co-worker so we've been having supper together and such. It's nice having company.

We're heading back today. I'm missing my kids but it has been a nice break.

i called home the other day and the kids were at my moms.

I was talking to charlie and he said, "just a second, mommy. i have to go pee. I'm going to put the phone down"

me: "No no no. Give me to Josie"

Charlie: "Here Josie, I have to go pee. Hold this. Don't talk."

lmao

Morning!

I took my kids on a trip for Fall Break.

I'll be putting pictures on Facebook sometime today.

I'll pick out my faves and put them here too.

Remember way back in the old days when you had to get people in the same room as you to bore them with your vacation pictures?

Well, no longer!

Now you can make EVERYBODY look at them right online.

:D

Some alone-time does sound pretty blissful.

I'm ready for a break from these little people.

My kids were really, really good on our trip, thank goodness.

They're good travelers too (mostly).

They just sit and listen to music or watch TV.

I brought a big tote with books, crayons, DS, and Leapster, and they didn't do any of that in the van.

Of course, Henry's favorite thing on our trip was the zoo.

We went there two days in a row.

Mark said his favorite thing was the hippo (in front of the Rainforest Cafe at the mall).

I took a digital video of it for him.

GM!

This week has been really busy with work.  I went back in until midnight after the boys went to bed to catch up.  Sucks, but I'd rather put in the time and not feel anxious for being behind.

The boys have been borderline sick all week.  The 99.5, not quite sick, but sick enough to be a ball of crankiness.  I'm hoping we can turn a corner here soon.

Kids are on fall break this week. Yesterday I was dragged to see Zombieland by Stephen since it is rated R and I loved it. I'm finally going to the doctor today to get my sinus infection treated. Been dealing with it for a month.

The days of no preferences on gifts has officially, finally, passed.

It appears that Santa MUST bring each boy a talking Buzz Lightyear doll...action figure...whatever.

At $36 each, my boys taste suddenly got expensive.

I'm not committing until after Thanksgiving when they have to write their "final" santa list.  No changes after that, or santas elves won't be able to make it in time.

Disney has been postponed after a good heart to heart with Travis.

The sad news, it won't be this March.

The happy news, it will be May- 2011.  Koda will be almost 6, Tristen almost 4, and if we are lucky enough to get preggers this spring, the baby will stay with gramma for the long weekend.

Most importantly, we will be debt-free by then and can enjoy the vacation without any guilt or any cloud.  We are getting so so close that to take on a big trip like that right now doesn't make sense.

Since we were not ttc until after Disney originally, now the debate is to possibly begin trying in Feb instead of March... we'll see.  I don't want before then though,  Fall is a busy season for work.

My weigh in for WW sucked yesterday.

I almost cried.  For the whole meeting.

Then a student yelled at me, and I almost cried.

Then a commercial came on that did make me cry.

And another.

Then I woke up this morning and realized that at 31 years of age you'd think I would know when my period was do by the glaringingly obvious symptoms the day prior.  Not so much.

Not much!

Yesterday we went to dinner at Hardee's. I know. Super nutritious but that's what Colin asked for and I didn't feel like cooking and neither did Grant.

He had a job interview yesterday but he isn't very optimistic about it. The guy didn't seem to know what he wanted or needed so we'll see what happens.

Yesterday we went shopping after dinner. I got a bottle set for Addy, some yarn to make a blanket for our friends' baby, cat food, and Infant's Mylecon. We came home, put Colin to bed, fidgeted with Addy b/c she was a bit colicky, watched Law and Order: SVU, talked forever, and spent some quality couple time together.

Today, I have no idea. We'll see as the day goes. I've got a headache. Yuck.

This week has been relatively light for me so I've been able to do a lot of crocheting.  I finished the body of the afghan I was working on and started another one.  I should be able to get it to the halfway point today.  That is, if I can manage my time well.

Last night I took a break from crocheting and read Book of a Thousand Days again.  I love that book and it's a quick read.

nothing. Scott was coughing on sunday so I skipped church. By sunday night Raym and Scott had a fever. They still had one up to yesterday. Monday Me and DH started with a stomach bug or the flu and now dh cough is worse and has a fever.

He has a doc appt today. Im not sure its H1N1 thought because I still have no fever nor does K and it seems more like a regular cold, but dh NEVER gets sick so I feel horrible for him.

Luckily there letting him stay home till his appt today and theyll probably give him today and tommorow off after the doc appt(the doc decides how long they have off).

Im sooo greatful to know he can just go to the doctor and if they say hes sick or hurt he has the days to rest and not have to worry about income.

I really like NCIS also.

They just started NCIS:Los Angeles (I think) but I'm over-committed on shows so I'm not starting that one.

I like the humor in the NCIS shows.

Good morning!

It seems that we are constantly going somewhere right now, but not necessarily exciting.  I have been looking for a dress to wear to a wedding.  I guess I should be getting together something for E too since the wedding is a week from Saturday.

It's been rainy and cold here so it's not much fun now.  I do have Saturday plans.  Robert is watching E and I am hoping to go to a craft fair, Macys (I have a 25% off any item coupon), Farm and Fleets Toyland grand opening, and I can't remember what else.  If I can get myself up and going, it will all be doable.

I am on the prowl for Christmas presents now. giggle.gif

Sonya your work trip sounds like it was a nice break.

Robin your trip sounds fun and I will be glad to look at the pictures.

Tracy I hope everyone in your house starts feeling better soon.

Jenn you are so good about your commitment to pay off debt!  I am trying to really think things through for E's Christmas.  Lucky for me, right now her big priority is a purple dragon.

Jennie your Arby's night sounds good to me.

Muffy you should take pictures of the dresses.

Alania good for you for reading.

You are lucky.  When my ds was the age of your Stephen, he no longer wanted me to go to movies with him.  I hope your trip to the doctor results in feeling better.
