Warm and yummy beverage talk time

Okay, I was going to put coffee talk but know not everyone likes coffee.  So the question for today is:

What is your favorite fall/winter yummy comfort beverage?

Bonus question just because:

If you received a "naughty" gift from your dh/so, what would it be?

I love coffee, but my favorite fall beverage is chaider, is just regular apple cider. We have a grove a few towns over that fresh presses theirs, and there's just NOTHING like it.

My fav too.

Corey, I think she is just saying the name with humor. I think that is :)

I love it heated too and it is so, so good.

Does everyone get fresh cider where they live? Nothing better then cider from the mill.

well, i dont drink coffee or tea....

so i would say my fave warm seasonal beverage is "gluhwein"  which is hot red wine mulled with spices.

yummy.

what is even more yummy is that you get it at the christmas markets and eat it with fried potato pancakes.

Very yummy. My friend gave me a  mull ball or whatever it is called and spices from France. It is very good.  I made the mull ball term up. You know what I am talking about though. I think they call it Vin Chaud in French.

What kind of spices do you use or do they sell a combo there for this?

I really should not have asked this question because this time of year my favorite wavers with my mood.  I guess I still have to say coffee because I feel lost without my cup in the morning and soon the pumpkin spice creamer will be out (if it isn't yet) and that is super yum!

I tried some chi at my friends yesterday that was sooooo good too.  She has a thing called teavana that you use to make loose leaf tea.  It is awesome.

I had a pumpkin spice latte at Dunkin Donuts this morning. That's probably my favorite. But I may need to give gluhwein a try!

lmfao

Joe always thinks I sound like I'm from Boston and just saying cider, but it's actually equal parts chai tea concentrate and apple cider. I toss it on the stove (because I don't have a crockpot anymore, lol) with a few orange slice and an apple poked with cloves, and it's divine.

I'm a huge apple cideraholic though, in any form.

I've never had fresh cider.  In fact, I think the only cider I've ever had was like a mix or something that somebody made up.

I love plain old vanilla cappucino

i am not huge on "spicey" flavors at all...i dont like pumpkin spice, dont like chai, dont like mulled cider, dont like any cider really...just not my thing.

 Me too!

I don't drink tea or coffee or really anything hot but if the time is right, I love hot chocolate.
