Anyone had this? The past few days, I am just burping non stop, but my diet has not changed. I would not be surprised by this if I had eaten something that would cause extra stomach gas, but I haven't.
I am also feeling extra bloated-blah. By the end of the day, I barely want to eat dinner. (maybe I shouldn't complain and just see if it helps me lose weight, lmao!) I also have been getting more acid reflux-y type stuff than usual. I would say it was the crabs we ate yesterday, but this started more like Friday.
Any ideas as to what might cause excess gas like this, and when you get this way, what do you use? Those chewable tablets? Something else? I am pretty uncomfortable.
Sorry that sucks about burping.... I guess my family has no manners LOL Just kidding really... we tend to burp alot ONLY at home and not in front of people. So we do have manners hehe...
Anyways, this is what I found from someone who asked what causes excessive burping off a yahoo website it may not be what youre talkin about because you just started getting it but worth a look at (diet-wise)??
WHAT NOT TO DO!!!!!!!! In most cases, stress is a factor to the reflux if you watch what you eat and reduce some of the stress it will help. If you watch what you eat for about a week you should find relief, if you do not then that is when you definitely what to listen to the doctor. Things to watch for are as follows:
Fatty Foods Citrus Foods Foods That Contain Grease Fried Foods Chocolate (including any Coco) Caffeine Smoking Alcohol Tomato Based Products Lactose Cold Foods
WHAT TO DO!!!! The two foods that I recommend is Black strap Molasses and Raw honey. The apple is better for night time reflux while these will work for just about all of it. What you will do is take about a tsp. of whatever one you chose. Molasses being the better because of strength and nutrition, but must be use to the taste. What the substance will do is stick to the sides of the esophagus and do two things, one is heal and the other is protect. On the healing end, both substances have a healing property in them, and as they sit on the walls of the esophagus they will heal it. This is also helpful if you have a sore throat in the morning from refluxing. On the protection end, both substances are high in sugar and when acid that is refluxed comes up to that the sugar will neutralize it and it will not longer be a problem at that point.
I would also look to putting Cinnamon and Ginger in you diet, they have been know to help with digestion and will help you reduce the amount of acid needed to brake down food, therefore causing you to reflux less.
foods that cause excessive gas but I also wondered with the medicines you are taking it could be a cuase of that too???
The different types of sugars found in foods — including fruits and vegetables — are often difficult for the body to handle. Here are specific foods fitting this description:
Milk and dairy products
Starchy foods like potatoes and pasta
Wheat and oat bran
Foods sweetened with artificial sweeteners, such as soda, gum, and hard candy
Bananas, peaches, apricots, pears, and raw apples
Raisins and melons
Prunes and prune juice
Colas and fruit drinks sweetened with fructose
Beans and lentils
Onions, green peppers, shallots, and scallions
Cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and peas
Corn, celery, artichokes, asparagus, and carrots
Not all of these foods may give you excessive gas, and you may find completely different foods that do. (Keep in mind that excessive gas can also be caused by certain medications, health conditions, and swallowing too much air when you chew gum or eat too quickly).
LMAO Tracy! Though I have to say that I think that is wishful thinking on your part, lol. I am only at day 20 today, and I am pretty sure I O'ed at day 14, so it really is too soon for any symptoms even if I did get pg!
Tiffany-tysm for all that info!!! I don't think it any of my meds because none of them are new. It *could* be alcohol because I have ben having a glass of wine practically every night, but then that isn' that much different from my norm either, so IDK. Oh,and I have nothing to tell atm. Bill and I had a slight oops around day 12, but I would say it is maybe a 50/50 chance, so just as much chance that AF will come as not. And really, the signs of early pregnancy can usually all be attributed to PMS anyway. What I can tell you is that if there is anything to tell, I will be sure to tell it!
And now I am going to be one of those women who *thinks* she is pregnant, even though everything is explainable from PMS.
Aside from the burping (which even Bill commented on-seriously-it is a LOT), I have had a headache all day that I can't shake, and I very rarely get headaches, and I am soooooo flippin' tired. But I go to bed too late, so that could easily be because of that. But even as I sit here, my eyes are burning because they want to close so badly. That is it though-so read into as you like, lol!! AF is due Monday, if the past few months have been any indication, so I should be able to find out by then if AF doesn't show.
No problem, lol! I am just trying not to get my hopes up too much about it right now. I know I will be disappointed, much as the timing is off for another baby.
But I am going out tomorrow and will be right by the dollar store-I am not sure I am going to be able to pass up buying some tests, lol!!!
