I can't help but wonder if my daughter has peed all over herself and her bed.

I know it's a chance I took but it was worth it not to wake her and dress her again.  I'm sure she would have just stripped again.

plus she looked cute and it's probably comfy to have a bit of time sans diaper.

heart.gif

They are cute, aren't they?

But still, I can't deal with the mess.  Plus my Kate almost always poops during nap.  No.thank.you.

Also, I would watch her on the video monitor and go in and tape her up if she tried stripping, lol.  I let her sleep in just the dipe, but not without!!!

OMG

I see duct tape in my future!

thanks for the tip.

i might really need it come 8:30 this p.m.!

You just have to be careful that you smooth the edges all the way down, or sometimes it will roll and stick to them-ouch.  Plus my Kate always liked to put her hand down her diaper, lmao, so the tape would get all bunched up if I didn't make sure it was good and stuck on there.

Maybe you won't need it, but it works if you do!!!

my kate NEVER poops so at least I don't have THAT fear!

UGH.  She is still struggling with that, huh?  I hate that.  And IDGI it either.  I mean, Anna and Kate eat almost the exact same things, so why does one have trouble and the other doesn't?

I'm sorry Kate is still having a hard time with the constipation.

Today SD is here so we've been bumming it since its a rainy day. She goes back this evening. We've had her since last night.

Then the rest of the evening I don't know. I think some friends of our's wanted to hook up. Who knows...

Tomorrow is church! I love going to the new church so I'm excited. Lots of fun people. :)

DH told me that he thinks that our next door neighbors have been siphoning gas from our tank. He says that there have been times that he's come home from work with a 1/4 tank left (and we don't go anywhere during the week) and the next morning he leaves out the drive and the gas light comes on..
ETA- He also has gone out to mow and found the mower empty when it had plenty of gas after the last mow and the gas can empty when it too had gas in it.

I'm starting to really become a bit suspicious.

I NEED to color my hair tonight. I use the semi-permanent kind. I used to go to the salon, but it is a lot of money, and it is hard on my hair. I am sure I will eventually go back to it though. But for now, this is easy. But my grays are out of control!!!!

I really like Feria...LOVE it actually...it's the only brand I put in my hair smile

my daughter has a new trick.

she obviously wasn't quite ready for nap or something so was loud after I put her down.  after a few minutes I went in and she had stripped down to just her diaper.

I redressed her, rocked her and put her back to bed.

she didn't really fuss anymore.

went in after a few minutes and she is asleep and butt ass naked!!!!

this could get messy!

Oh boy.

I remember this stage.  I used duct tape, seriously.  I couldn't keep her in her clothes or pjs, so I just duct taped her into her diapers.  She hated it, and I would eventually ask her if I needed to tape her in and she would tell me yes or no, lmao.

It just faded off at some point-IDR how long it lasted.

Today, the boys and I explored the zoo ALL.MORNING.

Tomorrow morning (early), we're heading out to Nashville.

We're going straight to the zoo to meet friends and explore, then we'll check into our hotel in the afternoon sometime.

We're coming home Tuesday.

glow-y . . . that after is first thing in the morning.

the before is about 6:00 p.m.

I always look like hell come 6:00 p.m. after the day has beaten the hell out of me.

I wish I was one of those women who could look fresh at 7:00 p.m. while out to dinner but I am not.  I always look like I got hit with a freight train!!

1) What are your plans for the weekend? I went grocery shopping this morning and went to a baby shower this afternoon.  The rest of my weekend is normal stuff....baths for kids tonight, church tomorrow morning, relax the rest of the time.  DYK I had never been to a baby shower before this week and this week I've been to 2.  Neither of the people I knew very well.  Still they were fun.

2) What will you miss most about the summer?  Being warm.  I freeze 8-9 months of the year.

My kids are being helpful and obedient this evening, even getting in the bath without prodding.

It's too bad I don't have a fun trip with which to bribe them every day.

Glen suggested earlier today that I call my sil to see if they had decided to go with us on our trip.

I had told them that they could tell me last-minute if they wanted to go.

So later this afternoon, I asked Glen to bring me the phone--[it wasn't where it belonged]--and I'd call her.

He said he had just called her. :brow

I said, "You did what?! That was . . . strange."

Really had no clue as to the proper response.

I decided to just let it go since I know he's freaking-out mental about our trip.

No telling what horrible scenarios he is imagining.

Hello?!

Anywhere here this evening?

I take back what I said about my kids being good this evening.

I didn't realize that Mark had gone to the store with Glen so he wasn't even in the bath with Henry.

And now both of them are up past the time I told them to go to bed.

Plus Mark pitched his usual bedtime fit.

 Good afternoon!!

LOL-I totally do too.  I told Bill that and he says he thinks I am wack.  Um...hello???  He was the one who was responsible for the oops!!!  Then I asked him if I get AF this month, should we try next month.  He said NO WAY, lmao.  I guess he still isn't ready to actually try again, which I totally get.

Hopefully by this time next week I will know one way or the other.

I hope you are having fun, Robin!!!

My mom and dad took me and the girls to a nursery this morning and they bought me a dogwood. It was a late birthday present from them! Now the front garden is done until spring!!

The dogwood is eventually going to be a bit to big for that spot, but it will take at least a decade or more to get that way, so whatever. We'll be long gone. I actually think if pruning is kept up on it, it will be fine.

I am so happy!!!

They were having a little fall festival there today, so the girls got to go into a big bounce house-which of course was a big hit.

Bill was at home. He went out last night with his BFF to Baltimore and he was out until 2am. This morning was a bit rough on him, lmao.
