It is NASTY. WTF happens to it??? He must sweat a lot or something. Oh, and you know what it probably is? He doesn't brush at night and he drools. Because I used to make him brush at night, and IDR it being this bad. All of a sudden, it just smells horrid. Maybe he needs to go to the dentist.

Gross.

I need to go throw the pillow and the case in the washer so it an be clean for bedtime.

my DH's pillow is bad too.

i replace both his pillows every other month.

he sweats terribly - usually when he's fighting off some sinus stuff.

I change his pillow cases every other day.

Wow-seriously???

I think I need to do this too.

Where do you get your pillows and cases?  Do you just buy cheap ones?  I won't even let him near a white pillowcase!!!

I am glad I am not alone is having a disgusting hubby, lol!!

I do buy the cheap ones b/c I have to replace them constantly.

Last week I bought a set from JC Penney.  It was $20 for a 2 pack but then you got another 2 pack for $1.  So, I gave him 2 new ones and hid the other 2 new ones in my closet for next month!!

I have some nice pillow cases but I've just started buying cheapies of these too just to have several on hand.

Hi everyone!!!

Two questions today.

1) What are your plans for the weekend?

2) What will you miss most about the summer?

plans - none really.  John is fishing.  little john has a karate open house today from 10-4.  the little ones and I went to Target and got some lunch and came home.  will head to town for LJ in a bit.

tomorrow - might get up early and go to children's museum or try to take them to church solo . . .

what I will miss most is not having to put on so many clothes and not having to wear coats and letting them slip crocs on.

Ah yes-that is so true about the quick getaways from the house.  Now we have to deal with socks, and shoes and jackets, blah blah blah.

I haven't been to target in a while (well, like 2 weeks, lol).  I need to go.

And good luck with church!!!  Bill actually takes the girls by himself a lot because I sing, and they are angels for him.  I doubt they would be for me though.

I redressed her, rocked her and put her back to bed.

she didn't really fuss anymore.

went in after a few minutes and she is asleep and butt ass naked!!!!

this could get messy!

Oh boy.

I remember this stage.  I used duct tape, seriously.  I couldn't keep her in her clothes or pjs, so I just duct taped her into her diapers.  She hated it, and I would eventually ask her if I needed to tape her in and she would tell me yes or no, lmao.

It just faded off at some point-IDR how long it lasted.

at this very moment it's cute and funny.

but it is day 1.

I can imagine this will get old very quickly if she decides to do it again at bedtime.

this just reminded me that Kate also takes off her shoes and socks every time we get in the car!  It is frustrating.  I have to redress her before we go into any place.

hmmmmmmmmm.  I'm starting to re-think the "she's cute and funny" comment!

you know what is going to begin next wednesday?

the 40th year of my life.

yes, I'm turning 39 next wednesday.

I plan to spend the next 365 days working on me.   I got the new hair thing.  I need to get in shape and stop eating so much junk.  I love fast food though.  I don't know if I love it so much as I love the convenience.

I'm going to do something about whitening my teeth.  I bought some over the counter stuff today.

I'm going to walk more - I'm wearing a pedometer for working and monitoring my steps.  On the days I don't work I get closer to the 10K steps.  Actually on Wednesday I was over 10K steps for the day.  On the days I work I barely break 3K.

WOOHOO!!!!!  You do NOT look 39, Kris.  You look way younger than I do, and I am 34 right now (yeah, a whopping 5 years younger, lol).  You look AMAZING!!!!  And your hair cut???  SHUT UP!!!!  It looks AWESOME.

You are hot stuff!!!!

And go you on the walking!!!!  I have a pedometer..somewhere, lol.  Not that it is doing me a whole lot of good wherever it is!!!

I know it's a chance I took but it was worth it not to wake her and dress her again.  I'm sure she would have just stripped again.

plus she looked cute and it's probably comfy to have a bit of time sans diaper.

heart.gif

They are cute, aren't they?

But still, I can't deal with the mess.  Plus my Kate almost always poops during nap.  No.thank.you.

Also, I would watch her on the video monitor and go in and tape her up if she tried stripping, lol.  I let her sleep in just the dipe, but not without!!!

I really do need to do this.  I think I will stock up at Target next time I go, if they are cheap enough, because I have a 10%.  Maybe I will get a few pillows too, since he doesn't seem to care about what kind he uses.

Yeah-it got old real quick in our house!!  The first time I cracked up, but when it was every single time, everyday, I got tired of it fast!!!

But the duct tape does work!!! biggrin

What is it with the Kates and being nekkid???

IDT I have felt 26 since I was 26!  Definitely not anymore...

I hope that once my kids sleep in, I will be able to sleep in too, though I fear that I will not be able to sleep in by then.  It is brutal sometimes being the mom of young kids!!

right - that is how it happens.

we always wondered as teenages why on earth our mothers were up before the sun.  now we know.  it was OUR fault.  Years and years of sleep depriving them made their internal clocks out of wack!

my earliest riser this morning was 7:45 so I'm not complaining.  We are definitely on an up swing around here!

You just have to be careful that you smooth the edges all the way down, or sometimes it will roll and stick to them-ouch.  Plus my Kate always liked to put her hand down her diaper, lmao, so the tape would get all bunched up if I didn't make sure it was good and stuck on there.

Maybe you won't need it, but it works if you do!!!
