I can't even vote in my own poll, lol! I swear, everyone all over the NYC is wearing them - with boots, sneakers, long sweaters, etc. And I loved wearing them as a teen - LOVED! But that's the problem - I am not sure if I can purchase an item of clothing on take 2, kwim? I was around for the original 80's legging craze! I am too old to be buying them now - but I really want to, lmao!
No, because I already have a pair (from Joe's 80s party) and because they make me look like a beached whale. Or, I should say, they showcase my fatness even more.
I'd love to be able to rock them all foxy, like some of the less frightening people on Torrid's website, but alas, I cannot.
none for me, thanks... i do think the look is cute, but like tracy said, i dont have the right tops for them, and i'm not about to purchase tons of stuff so my leggings look right.
love wearing them. i bought some last winter, and i might buy another pair this winter. that is all they wore here last season. it is not just for young people. everyone was wearing them. i already see them this season again. i just think they are so comfortable. they are like wearing sweat pants but it looks nicer
Just not sure I can bring myself to buy a pair, plus I don't have any tops. I saw a pair of stirrup leggings and Walmart the other day and totally LOL!
I already own a couple of pairs. I like to wear them under skirts and dresses--when it's really cold they replace my tights and I wear with boots. When it's mild like now, I wear them with ballet flats or sneakers.
But I don't wear them with a longish shirt or sweater because I don't like my legs that much. I need full coverage!
Yes, love to wear them with uggs in winter and I do need to get more tops for them... I like to wear leggings with casual clothes. With my leather boots I usually wear skinny jeans or dresses.

ya know alyssa, i was thinknig about this before, and i'd totally wear them under a dress or skirt in the winter with uggs. i'd consider that more of a "footless tights" look, but i should revise my vote, i'd definitely wear them under a skirt.
the tunic thing isnt my look though. i'm shorrrrrrrrrrt.

right that's exactly what they are for me. Walking to work in NYC I got used to using warm layers!

oh totally, i've even been known to sport thermal long-underwear leggings under a skirt when i worked in manhattan!! (of course, i'm in academia, so fashion was never a consideration!)
