I think the skit was lousy, should have been gonged, and got the appropriate crappy score. 

I commend H.C. jr for speaking his mind, but also understand a clash in cultural understanding and why norms of acceptance in one place isn't acceptable in another.

I'm sure we do things on air that other cultures find insulting all the time that we think is simply funny.
