I for sure need to do something.  This pony tail everyday for years thing was old about 5 years ago.

I have found a flat iron that puts the CHI to shame!

It's by Babyliss, and it's AWESOME!!  I won't even use my chi anymore

Btw, Jenn-I hope your mom's surgeries goes smoothly. My fil had one dne, and he said he isn't as happy as he had expected with the results. BUT I can GUARANTEE you he didn't do all the work he was supposed to in PT, and that makes a HUGE difference.

Jennifer, I hope you don't need surgery!! Ouch!!!!

If I do, I'm going to see if we can do a tummy tuck.  You know, while she's there and all wink

LOL!!!  I would do it too!!!! (will they actually do that???)

LMAO.

Speaking of that-I do have a general question.  I have googled, but am getting answers all over the map.

How long is an egg viable after ovulation?  Anyone know?

 I can't remember.

I know you are right, it is not a big deal. And I really have nerve getting annoyed after everything she does for us.

Don't sweat the small stuff, don't sweat the small stuff, don't sweat the small stuff...

Oh-doi.  Of course.  That stinks!!!  I hope they can get her in.

If not, is there another activity she could do instead?

Please-my parents do so so so so so much for me.  Do you know how often I am annoyed with them?  Pretty much everytime I see them!!!  It is impossible not to get irritated.

It is going to be ok-just breathe deep.

I think it might be 24hours, but I have heard 6 hours up to 2 days.  IDK.  All I know is that I really need to start taking my temps again, lol!!  If I knew when I had ovulated every month, it would make things easier!

:wave

I check in here daily (except weekends) and read a lot but haven't been posting much. I got a complex when it felt like I was killing threads - responding and then getting nothing, so I shied away. :blush

Work's been $hitty this week, having to work with an a$$ who thinks he's all that. He's a super sharp guy, but I hate his condescending tone and how he seems to get all frustrated with me. Bah! I can't wait for this project to be over and done with!

my first appointment is Monday morning

I can't wait, I hope we'll get a good look and see that everything is good in there.

Aside from slightly swollen, sore boobs and feeling utterly exhausted in the afternoons, I'm not feeling anything else.

I still can't believe it most days.

So what would you do?

We're thinking that if the house doesn't sell by the new year, we might take it off the market and just stay here until after baby is born in June.

Ugh, I hate the thought of that, but it probably would be the more sensible thing to do.

I wouldn't have to worry about finding a new doctor.
We're already familiar with the staff at the doc's office, and the hospital.
I won't have to stress over moving, let alone trying to pack/unpack.

We wanted to be in Abq by the time Kyle starts Kinder, but that's not a must. He can stay at the Montessori school and then start public for 1st grade.

I don't know...decisions, decisions.

Me! Me! I know! LOL - after those IUI's last year trying to time exact ovulation - egg meeting frozen sperm which live only 12 hours when thawed LOL - i have this all down...

sperm can live up to 4 days - though they dwindle and weaken as time passes. its important to have good ewcm (eggwhite cervical  mucous) at the cervix to catch those spermies! some women have more and less....

an egg only lasts about 24 hours after ovulation though...

STFU!!!  I would love to see your baby belly!!!!  I am sure it is gorgeous.  How could it not be???

Megan is amazing-she carries so compactly or something!!!

STOOFU!!!

OK - here is the secret - its all an optical illusion.... my boobs always grow bigger than my belly so my belly just looks small! LOL!

perhaps it is my body type though - i NEVER gain weight in my hips legs or butt - i am a total apple shape - my first 15-20 pound gain, pregnant or not, is always in my tits and my waist thickens...

(plus, i am still careful not to eat crap, and i walk an 8km (5mile) circuit about 4 times a week....hoping to take it up to a run a few weeks after the baby comes!)

i confess i am afraid i am having another girl because i am carrying this one just like cecile and clara... with timmy i carried lower and out farther to the front.  BOO!  but i am so conflicted, because i had SO MUCH nausea this pregnancy, same as timmy, and i never had ANY nausea with either of the girls - so my body is not giving me any reliable clues either way. damnit!

Hopefully in March :)

YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!

Do you contemplate the time of year for a birthday?  I ask because March would translate into a holiday time birthday, and I know someone who thinks that is the best time of year to have a baby, but IDT I would like having to have a birthday party at that time every year.

We did.  If it miraculously worked on the first try, which I'm not holding my breathe since it takes longer for us, we would be ok with a holiday baby.  We talked a lot about making them seperate (even if the baby came on the actual holiday).  I would be more worried about an April pregancy since I always get induced early because I have godzilla sized babes.

LOL-I bet you do know all the ins and outs now-whether you wanted to or not!!!!

The reason I asked is because we have really wanted to have unprotected sex lately, but decided that (like I mentioned in my other thread) there is a big difference btwn waiting to see if something comes of the oops and actually trying.  I said I was almost 100% certain I O'ed on Tuesday evening, and figured the egg wouldn't be viable by the time we did it, but we decided to ere on the side of caution and we wrapped things up.  We'll see in a couple of weeks if that was a necessary measure or not, lol.

I would like to have some confidence in having unprotected sex at certain times of the month though-thus I really need to get back into charting full on and taking temps.

That makes sense!!  I always tell Bill we have to be extra careful around the time of year that would make a holiday baby.  Too much going on that time of year as it is.

I think Anna's birthday is the perfect time of year, even though I know she will hate that it isn't during the school year.  But I love it!

i actually really liked charting.  i tried to guess my temp each morning before i read the result LOL!  fortunately, i always had a REAL realiable chart - when i layered my most recent 6 months graphs, they were surprisingly similar.  i could even accurately predict when i would get my pos OPK.

i think once you get the charting down you can probably get a few weeks out of the month that you feel comfortable riding bareback.
