my poor DH is stressed out and has practically turned into a full time debt collector!

Kris, that really stinks.

Stoopid economy.

Don't be in a funk.

Arise, shine! For the light has come. The Glory of the Lord has come FOR YOU! Isaiah 60:1

And--

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. He knows those who trust in Him. Nahum 1:7

biggrin

Thanks!  I need that desperately today

OOh, an iphone. I hear they're great!

Will Kenley get her hearing aid on Friday? Or does she already have it?

She already has it.  This is just a follow up visit

And I didn't go get my phone--Kenneth got called out to work

How does she seem to be doing with it?

p.s. I never answered the original question. Oops.

I don't really know what this week holds.

Henry stayed home from school with a stomach-ache yesterday.

I had to work so he stayed with my mom.

Fortunately, she had the brilliant idea to look at Henry's class website, and they did lots of schoolwork/homework so he wasn't tempted to stay home today.

I had 5 babies in my class--3 of which were super-fussy. Not fun.

I went to Zumba last night after skipping it for a week.

No plans today.

Tomorrow evening, church dinner and 6th grade Bible study.

No other plans until Sunday morning when I'm taking my kids on a fun trip for Fall Break.

she did pretty well at first, now, not so much

she won't hardley keep it in, and i don't fight with it too much.  They told us they'd be around 2 years old before they finally stopped fighting it, so after about the tenth time of putting it back in, I leave it out.

I am doing the "free trial month" of karate for Mark, and we can go as many days per week as we'd like so I'll probably take him to karate a few times.

I think the kids look adorable doing karate.

This month they're working on "Stranger Danger", and Mark learned some self-defense techniques.

Plus they played Stranger Ball which looked remarkably similar to Dodge Ball. lol.

I can't afford to sign him up for regular karate classes because you have to commit to a year.

If I could do it for just a few months, I would.

I also want to get him a karate outfit; they'd probably let me buy that even if I didn't sign him up.

What is Zumba?

Exercise class.

"Zumba is a fun and energetic, latin-based dance exercise featuring salsa, flamenco, merengue, mambo, samba, afro-carribean, belly dance."

no Mark wanted me to add one of the faces. He said to do a yellow one.

I'm going to go play with him now.

Good Morning!

I havent been in here in forever!

Hope everyone's sickies goes away soon!!! And I hope no one else gets the h1n1! disbelief

This weekend is probably going to be laid back and do some cleaning around the house maybe a playdate.  Kinda tight on $ right now anyways.

Jennifer- re:hearing aids- yep kids usually don't leave hearing aids in much.... I was one of those kids the teacher had to sit and force the hearing aid in so many times I would always throw it so far and it got lost a few times.  It pissed my parents off so much because theyre so dang expensive!!! They gave up and I chose to not wear them until middle school I wanted to be "cool" again LOL  But I still don't wear it much to this day.  James can't live without his though.  Everyone is different.  But yea I was a difficult child when it came to the hearing aids... I probably pissed the insurance and parents off too much they were draining their money... Eh...  But after a while they figured it wasnt worth the battle cuz I will wear it if I want to.

I wish money grew off trees..... I feel all of a sudden like we really are tight and have to watch our $ I hate that.  I wish I could work out of the house and still be able to stay with the kids.  But there are so much scams so I dont know whats legit and whats not.  Sucks!!

good grief.

the fire alarm in my office has gone off twice today and it is so loud.  It's only gone off for a few seconds every time.  Last week it went off for 30-45 minutes at a time.  It is ear piercing.  And it's cold outside so hopefully it won't happen long enough to force me out into the cold!!

Hi, Tiffany!

I'm glad you're here.

I just finished playing cars and then hopscotch with Mark.

Also, he changed out of his new Spiderman costume into his same old pirate costume.

That boy loves to dress up.

Our money is also tight. Not fun.
