It's pretty much a normal week for me. School stuff in the mornings, housework and things in the afternoons, and running kids around in the evenings. This week I also have a church meeting tomorrow afternoon and two baby showers to attend. Someone please tell me that life gets much less demanding once the kids grow up. I can't imagine how I'm going to add anything more into my schedule without going insane, and yet, I'm going to have to add more in. Kyle starts scouts in December and in 2 1/2 years Brenna will start church activities, closely followed by Brittany. Then Crystal will go to dance two days per week instead of one and Rebecca has to decide what to do about college (she'll be graduating in less than 4 years from now).
this week, I have TONS of crocheting I need to get done...I need to finish 2 afghans and a pillow. Hopefully I can make a good bit of progress on them. I'm also working on a baby sweater but somehow messed it and can't figure out where I goofed so that's put aside while I finish this other stuff...I have about 2 weeks to get those afghans and pillow done...if there is time, I need to get a yellow/white kichen cloth and potholder set done.
What else...the usual daily maintance of laundry and housework. And make a ped appt for Daniel for a shot before the school nurse has a stroke :eyeroll: even though his ped said he doesn't HAVE to have that particular one right this minute and that it CAN wait til his next scheduled appt in January.
Anywhoozers....loving this weather we're having. Oh yeah, I need to pull our my box of Halloween crap and see what needs to be replaced.
Pics when they're done?
I'm working on afghans and a pillow, too, but I don't have a time table for them. I'm just using the yarn I bought for my birthday. I've got the main body of one afghan done and I'm working on the back of the pillow. I've got to finish that, do the body of the front, and get the main body of another afghan done before I can finish the stitching and borders on all three. Then I've got yarn for another afghan. I'm excited about that one. It's a real pretty greenish blue.
well, yesterday Adelaide and I both had appts. Thankfully at the same office since we switched her from the pediatician's to the family practice. :) She did well! 14lbs 1oz and 24 1/4" long. :) My girl is long! She got her first series of shots. Ouch! She's been running a bit of a fever since.
Today is my catch up day since I was down with a migraine and my rescue method failed. Ergh. :)
Tomorrow is WoW! And Grant has an interview before we go to WoW!
Thursday is nothing. Thankfully. Another catch-up day.
This week...Who knows now that 2 of the three are sick. Not horribly sick, but enough sick to keep them home from school and me away from the gym. I do suppose I should bring them to the dr to see if the sore throats and ear aches are anything more.
This morning, I'm going to visit a gf, then Hannah gets her Flumist, then we are going to make bows at another gf's while Hannah plays with her daughter.
Tomorrow, Hannah has school and a St. Jude's Trike-a-thon, if it doesn't rain it out like it did last week.
Thursday, Hannah has a longer day at school so I am going to be doing a ton of cleaning.
Friday is our preschool, lunch in the car, science class, playdate on the way home day. (exhausting)
Saturday, I'm hoping Hannah will spend the night with my mom so that Joe and I can go to a bonfire.
Mark's preschool had a trike-a-thon last year. I thought it was so cute!
It was REALLY overcast and windy on their day but it didn't rain during the event.

Friday is our usual grocery shopping day.
The weekend is open.
Why the switch?
We were having problems with the billing department at the pediatrician's office. They were complete and total wads. All of the claims for Colin and Adelaide kept getting kicked back b/c the pediatrician was "out of network" but he isn't. He was in network and always has been. So then we're hit with this nasty bill. We call them and the insurance company. The insurance company goes back and covers the entire claim for Colin but the billing department isn't satisfied. They keep coming up with claims that aren't paid. So we keep going back to the insurance company and they cover it. But it wasn't good enough for the billing department so we said, "To heck with you." And switched to a family practice doctor who is awesome.
The doc in charge of the peds patients is lovely. :) She even came into the exam room I was in just to let me know how Adelaide was doing and she me her percentiles and to find out if I had any questions aside from Grant. Awesome.

I know, and I don't know what's up, I just feel worthless today
Then Presley's teacher calls me and tells me they've had a confirmed case of swine flu in Presley's hallway..it's the special needs class and preschool in one building, oh and the library, so now I'm going to be praying like crazy over that.
