Grant has an interview on Wednesday with a German plant called Putsch. He somehow managed to get through to the HR manager who was a bit impressed so she dropped his name to the plant manager who called Grant on Friday demanding to know who he was, what he could do, and how he got through to his HR manager. Then said, "I want to see you Wednesday at 3."
So, I might get my wish after all of not having to move! This is the only Putsch plant in the U.S.
Didn't want to put this in P&PT but I could definitely use your mojo that this goes well and he gets the job so we don't have to sit and wonder WTF we're going to do. Also, the suit that was supposed to help relocate, etc got in touch with Grant and told him that the position he applied for in Kentucky isn't exactly ready yet b/c they are working out the final details of the contract with that plant but that he was going to get in touch with the recruiting manager for the company he's with now so that she'll FINALLY get in touch with him about all 12 positions that Grant has applied for with his current company so far. Ugh.
So, just your magickal mojo that one of these situations works out for us, please!!! He definitely needs it. He's been in such a foul funk over all of this and nothing I do helps.
