gm April!

I remember a lot of costumes.

I dressed like a hobo once.

A bunch of us dressed like little bo peep and her sheep in high school. I was a sheep and I made all of the sheep costumes.

I was a bat. I thought that was such an awesome costume but no one knew what I was. lmao.

I'm out at the house today.

The guys are coming back to do the trim for me.

I really really really can't wait for this to be done.

REALLY.

GM.

I was a Cabage Patch Kid one year, loved it.  The old-school plastic mask, you can't see, and vinyl body covering.

Ah, the 80s.

Remember going to the drug store or wherever and choosing fromthe pre-packaged boxes of costumes?

:)

I love halloween.

so of course without details, I am counting the seconds until later this morning.  Some friends and one of our counselors are doing an intervention.  They are calling someones parents and trying to get them to come get the student.  The student has not outwardly done anything that we could remove the student, but he needs a lot of help.   And now the friends probably do too.  Just terribly sad, and eating away at me.

Oh Jen. I am sorry.

I think your job must be terribly stressful.

Mike is just a professor but he hears some horror stories (which he wishes he didn't have to hear).

Good morning!

I remember dressing up as a witch on year, but for some reason, I can't remember any other costumes right now.

Good morning, girls!

My mom made me a panda costume when I was about 6... since then most of my nieces and nephews have worn it, so although it wasn't the most fashionable thing, it's super sentimental to me!

I'm so antsy today.

I don't know what is wrong with me.

Maybe I need more coffee. Sure, that's it.

furious<- Its a close enough Halloween emoticon. :)

I was a pumpkin when I was little. Vaguely remember that.

I was a zombie nurse. I remember that.
I was Miss America. I totally remember that.
I was Lady of the Lake.
I was a gothic kitty. (don't ask)
I was a medieval elf.
I was Grandmama from The Addams Family. That costume rocked! I scared so many little children. My mom had bought that face make-up that would wrinkle and age your face. Totally rocked.

We never did store bought costumes. Mom made our costumes.

ETA- I forgot. In 2002, I was Medusa! That took forever. My mom made my costume and my friend helped me braid my hair into as many braids as possible and then we stuck pipe cleaners in the braids to wind them up like snakes. The dress my mom made. The material was silver snake skin. Gorgeous! I still have the dress!

And in 2005, I was an exterminator. SD was a spider so I dressed as an exterminator.

I love dressing up! This year, Addie-girl and I are going to be witches! :)

Oh, I always loved Halloween! I remember my mom made me a cat costume. It was awesome. I loved wearing it. I have no idea where it is (the picture) but there is a picture of me doing a cartwheel in our front yard wearing this costume. I gave it to my friend's little sister to use and of course never saw it again.

One year I had a halloween themed birthday. I dressed up as Cleopatra - I was probably 8 I would guess. I just remember it came with this really cool "gold" snake that wrapped around my arm and my sister - who was probably around 20 at the time - painted my face with the coolest sparkly makeup. It was awesome!

Another time I was a witch, punky brewster - which was perfect! I also dressed up like a little old lady a few times - the costume was awesome. My grandma was living with us at the time so I stole one of her button up mumu's (moo-moo's???) and stuffed a huge bra and put a pillow just so and it looked like a huge booty. It was seriously such an awesome costume. My niece went as little red riding hood to match. It was great! I did that in high school (freshman year) - I was 13 and still wanted to go TOTing but sort of felt too old. Anyway my friend and I were both dressed as old ladies and this guy commented "aren't you a little old to be trick or treating?" And she freaked out and started fumbling all over her words and ran after getting the candy. He looked at me like "oooooookay!" He was just making a joke because we were dressed up as little old ladies.

I can't think of anymore at the moment.
