I don't know if this will help you any, but I used to make a couple of generic game boards from the large sheets of construction paper or tag board.  Sometimes I just make them colorful, other times I used stickers and whatever to decorate them.  Then I used index cards for questions.  This way you can use the same boards over again and just change the questions.  It also helps to laminate them.  You can roll a dice to see how many spaces forward the player gets to go when answering the question right or just write the spaces on the cards.

Also I do not know what kind of learner Henry is, but you can have him answer questions or retell whatever it is while doing silly things like standing on his head, putting his finger on his nose, talking in a silly voice, standing on one foot, etc.

If you feel really energetic you can make out cards with questions on them.  Then when he gets the answer right he gets the first clue to where the treasure is.  AFTER he has all the clues he can use them to go find the treasure (maybe a coupon for something or a snack).

Sorry if you were not looking for all of this, but I know earlier you were looking for some ideas.  Besides if I wasn't doing this I would have to do some actual cleaning here and, well, we can't have that.

Henry helped me make a board game--sort of like what you suggested. We've been using a spinner and flashcards but I'm having trouble keeping up with the questions because I add them as their lessons at school change, and those change every week.

I like the treasure hunt idea. And doing silly stuff. I could do things for Mark to participate with that one.

Cleaning-schmeaning. lol

Mark and I built a ginormous castle out of mega blocks earlier today. I thought about taking a picture but I didn't want people missing the point and just seeing the dirty carpet in the background.

It's a cool castle.

a few months ago, the bishop of half of our province announced a deal where survivors of priest abuse in the catholic church would be given $4Mil without protest. It was groundbreaking (though very hard on the parishes that would be responsible for the payments).

Yesterday he was arrested for having child pornography on his laptop.
