Happy Sunday!

I already went for a walk this morning!  So happy I got that in.

Is it humanly possible to lose 2.5 pounds in 2.5 days?  Probably not, but I'm aiming.  I would love to hit my pre=pregnancy weight from Tristen at my next WW weigh-in.  (I've gained a little the past two weeks.  booooooooo)

Travis and I really wanted to bring the boys to Disney this year.

We've put off the decision because we have been working so hard to pay off debt.

We decided last night to make it work, and to only spend money we have- no debt.

We are planning "project Disney on a dime"  :)  We are planning early March, I think, leaving here Wednesday and returning Sunday.  We don't think the boys could handle more than that (or us for that matter).  Two days at Disney, one at animal kingdom.

I am so freaking excited.

We have the daycare picnic today.

The kids are BEYOND excited.

Charlie even got himself and Josie dressed this morning (giggle).

Let me get a picture of how he dressed everyone.

Downloading...

so. I went out to the house on Friday so my tile guy could do the last of the grout.

I looked at the laundryroom and just couldn't handle the wallpaper any longer. I screamed at my self "Don't pull that off! DON'T, Sonya! DON'T" and then ripped a big chunk off.

What was I thinking?????

So then I had to peel it all off and paint. It looks a million times better (i'll get pictures soon) but was not the thing I should have been doing.

Mental issues, I tell you.

I have this mental image of you actually having this conversation with your self out loud and you tile guy being all WTF...

When are you putting this house on the market?  Or is it already?  School opening put me way out of the loop of things.

Good Sunday morning!

Jen Disney should be lots of fun!  I hope you find some great deals and get Disney on a penny. giggle.gif

Sonya, I think Charlie did a fantastic job getting himself and Jo dressed and boy are those two cute. heart.gif  I imagine once the kitchen and all were done, it made your laundry room stick out like a sore thumb.  I bet it helps in selling your house.

Robin, I hope you are having a good morning and finding some fun to force on your family.

my kids are SO anti-rides, so i am debating planning a trip to orlando just for sea world & animal kingdom - and maybe that hollywood place for the handy manny and cars stuff.

we can fly down there for SO cheap from here.

am i crazy for making trip and not doing disney?

(omg, sonya, your kids are SO cute! heart.gif)

No you are not crazy, but just so you know, there is a ton to do besides rides.  Elizabeth is not really a ride type of kid either and she loved Disney.  I want to take her back when it is not so crowded.  Some of the rides like small world are no biggie and she enjoyed.  Also most of the rides are big enough for your family to go and I think that makes a difference.  We only rode the tea cups (which totally surprised me), carousel, small world, and some other boat ride (Pinocchio?).   The parade was fun and you can meet the characters too.  It was kind of disappointing because we didn't get to meet any princesses, but Elizabeth had fun.

Even if you decide to do other stuff it's still fun.  Also, I am not sure, but when I was teaching I used to get in free to Sea World in Orlando.  It's been about 6 or so years now, but you might want to check into that but teachers were free.

Free Disney stuff for teachers just might be enough incentive for me to renew my teaching license. ;D

Henry would be over the moon if we could go to Animal Kingdom. It's even on the list of Top 10 zoos that he found online.

Libby (you suggested it, right?), I am forcing my family to have fun again this afternoon.

We're going to Kimberly's dh's employee picnic.

Her dh owns three (or more) funeral homes, and the picnic is from 1 - 6.

There will be moon bounces, pony rides, a petting zoo, hamburgers and hot dogs, etc.

Molly (her dd) has cheerleading pictures at 1 so they can't go together, and Kimberly needed a ride to the picnic.

So we got invited.

Woo-hoo!

Free fun for a whole afternoon. :hi5:

p.s. Of course Glen isn't going. I knew that was your next question. Besides, he has a sinus infection.

anti-social-ism (not to be confused with anti-socialism because I don't really know his views on that matter).

Plus, he wasn't exactly invited, although I told him he could come if he wanted.

I'm going to have to leave early to come straight to church for my Bible study, dropping the kids off at the nursery.

I haven't warned Glen yet but I'm planning to ask him to go to church and get them while I'm in my Bible study.

Kimberly and Molly will ride back home with their own family after the picnic.
